From communications prior to our arrival to meeting our host and the entire stay, we had a wonderful experience! The kitchen is large and fully stocked, they have a washer and dryer, and the rooms were exactly as listed. Our host was courteous and the staff would keep the guest house super clean. They even gave us a bottle of fresh squeezed locally farmed mandarin juice, which was delicious.

Such a lovely stay with the best okonomiyaki just down the road! Hospitality was amazing and even gave us some manju that they make in their shop to try!! Delicious! Perfect stay in a great location for the kumano kodo trail. Would definitely stay again!

One of our best stays in Japan! The host was extremely nice and spoke English. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to store our belongings in the temple. We asked the host for restaurant recommendations and he went above and beyond to help us find a place to eat (the ramen restaurant he recommended was very nice). The free alcohol was definitely a plus, we had a lot of fun!

what a great little place. If you have a small group, the 4 ppl room on the 3rd floor is perfect. The place has lots of great info in multiple languages and the affiliated izakaya was the perfect place to go for dinner.

The best part of the stay was the host. He was honesty one the kindest humans I we have ever met. His attention to detail was extraordinary. You'll find whatever you could possibly need in this beautifully decorated room. Even the instant coffee was delicious. He met us when we arrived and saw us out on the day we left.

We had an amazing stay here! The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming and very approachable. Their English was excellent, so we were able to have really interesting and enjoyable conversations. For dinner we were served a delicious homemade Japanese curry, and the next morning they prepared a tasty breakfast as well as fresh sandwiches for our hike. There is also an onsen located nearby, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The shuttle service from the end of the trail and back to the trailhead the next morning was incredibly convenient and really completed our Kumano Kodo experience. The apartment itself was very spacious, fully equipped and spotlessly clean, with reliable Wi-Fi as well. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back!

excellent property in the middle of Kumano Kodo. We were lucky to have a housing there. The place was spacious and had 3 separate rooms, each can have 2-3 beds. Had kitchen, dishes, and everything. Japanese traditional style house with a big garden.

Satomi was very welcoming, and this stay had everything we needed. The little kitchen was so cute, and the laundry was very convenient and easy. The space was large. This was also a very convenient location -- walking distance from Hayatama shrine, Shingu station and Kamikura-jinja shrine. We ate at the okonomiyaki place down the street and it was delicious. The bedroom is very close to a somewhat busy street, and so it was quite noisy, and the headlights shone even through the curtains. The space was overall quite clean, but the building is older and we did find a few hairs.

Very nice base for a short stay (had whole house to ourselves so relaxed fully). Traditional Japanese home with associated facilities. Care that you identify the property (one side of road, while they also have a sign on the other indicating an available parking area).

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Noahs house. It is recently renovated and the whole apartment was super clean and cozy. On top of that it is very well equipped - the owner had really thought about everything one might need. Also they kept in touch to make sure we were happy and satisfied. There was a dedicated parking place right next to the apartment and laundromat was 3 minute walk away. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely stay in a traditional Japanese house. The location is very convenient to visit the area. We slept comfortably and the host was very sweet. The common area was also pleasant! We came by car and they provided parking. Overall highly recommend!

We drove to the location and the parking is not a problem. Response form owner is prompt and very helping. Room is excellent and clean. No elevator but owner helped to carry. Also provide lots of information regarding nearby tour plan. Highly recommend!
