This has been my best stay in Sri Lanka by far. This place is a spacious BRAND NEW apartment with balcony. EVERYTHING IS SO CLEAN. The 2 double beds are super comfortable and brand new. The AC Is brand new with ceiling fan. Fitted with a brand new kitchen with 1 hob and all utensils included and comes with big private new bathroom. It's a 10 minutes drive from the all the noise of Hikkaduwa beach. But what makes this place so special is the cute family that host this place. It's basically an apartment/ homestay. They was soo welcoming and helpful right from the start and went out there way to help us with anything. There's private secure parking on there gated driveway. I cant recommend this place enough. I was skeptical at first because of the lack of reviews but this is just because the place has been newly listed and is brand new. HIGH RECOMMEND 🫶🏻♥️

We felt like we were at home! We bought our own groceries and cooked our own meals exactly how we preferred. We cooked up some BBQ for dinner because the villa comes with a BBQ Machine as well! It’s almost the perfect getaway from home that still makes you feel so comfortable and cozy! Every room was equipped with ACs which was a massive advantage to us! Kitchen were fully equipped from saucepans to toasters! We had multiple choice of locations as to where do we eat… Definitely one of the best Homestay styles Villas I’ve been to.
I really liked the villa, it’s a big bedroom and also a living room combined with the kitchen. The villa is very light, there are 5 big windows in the bedroom. No probs with ac and electricity. The host family is absolutely gorgeous!! They own a shop which is in the first floor and a medical center. I’ve had some medical issues and they kindly helped me. The family was so caring and really welcoming, I was even sad to say goodbye. The location can seem for somebody a little bit far away from the ocean. But for me it was perfect: calm, peaceful, safe, no tourists, you can feel real Sri-Lanka living in such place, so close to local people, that’s what I wanted! Also it’s really green and beautiful outside, real jungles :)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good selection. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. The whole property had a peaceful atmosphere, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

we chose the property due to its beautiful gardens, and it did not disappoint. it was a quiet haven away from the busy centre of Hikkaduwa but also close by enough! it was very tranquil. the staff were very friendly. We had breakfast included and went for the srilankan breakfast each day which was wonderful, the portions were huge! they helped us rent a scooter and were the best place we've stayed in in Sri Lanka, jungle vibes with clean rooms and Sir Lanka vibe but also modern enough!

Best breakfast we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! Lovely Cabanas & super kind owner and team :) Also the dog Roxy is so cute! Walking to the beach takes a while but with a TukTuk it’s only 5 min and costs 1.00-1.50 Euro 😊 Would definitely come back 😊
Tranquil Escape
As soon as I entered Tranquil Escape Villa, I was greeted with a welcome drink that was amazing. I checked in to my room and wanted to try the pool to relax myself after a hectic day of travel. The pool was clean & well-maintained. It looked as good as it looked in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I booked a deluxe double room and it had a king-sized bed. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean as well. Mr. Patrick, who was the manager of the property, took great care of me. The breakfast he prepared was absolutely delicious. Overall, my experience at Tranquil Escape Villa was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
