This is a beautiful place located in a serene and quite tea estate. You look out onto greenery and it instantly brings you close to nature. There's a beautiful forest of rubber trees close by, and you can take a bike ride or walk though it. The host is wonderful, kind, and hospitable. And they cooked great food. Come here if you want to get away from Colombo for a bit, or need some time in nature.

We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamonhouse Villa, incredibly peaceful and quiet. It’s about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport and was a perfect place to rest and recoup before our onward travel. The house itself is beautifully designed with an open-plan layout that feels both stylish and homely. The main house has one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom (the other bedroom that is kept for the owners, meaning there was a lot of privacy and space for us when we were there). There is also a separate cottage a short distance from the main house that can be booked, and you have the option to book the entire property for full privacy. The highlight has to be the gorgeous pool overlooking the paddy fields, often dotted with cows — such a calming view. The property is surrounded by forest and even has spices growing in the garden, which adds to the whole experience. The staff were very warm and accommodating, breakfasts delicious, and they prepared a delicious lunch for us on request (including BBQ by the pool!). Tea and coffee were always available, along with pool towels, and there’s table tennis if you feel like doing something active. More than anything, this is a place to truly relax, unwind, and soak in the calmness of the surroundings. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back.

the booking was cancelled by the management without notice after reaching the location almost. we do not recommend this place to anybody. had to look for alternatives with much difficulty.

We had a 3 night stay at Ayr Castle, and I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to travel to relax and spend a few days to rejuvenate. We loved everything about the place. The location was stunning, and our suite was simply perfect for relaxing. The food was really great, with a nice selection of meals. The staff were very hospitable, welcoming, and attentive. The peaceful surroundings and the magnificent scenery were hardly things you would expect from a place just an hour's drive away from Colombo. It was the perfect escape for two people who were wishing for solitude and comfort. I would like to thank the team for making us feeling welcome and giving us an amazing stay!

Amazing stay at AHAS GAWWA. It felt very special. The surrounding is beautiful and the views are amazing. The staff is very friendly and the room very spacious and clean. I highly recommended it

Very Clean and comfy place. Seems fresh , new. Bathroom, and bedroom, everything was very very clean,,, Super. 👍👍👍 Happy with that, and looks classy, modern style. Has a big kitchen, with the equipments you need, and also a washing machine. Worth the price. Great stay, also has a big garden in front, and behind, nature where you can calm down, also with chairs where you can sit and relax.

The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location with a great view. This is a nice cozy A frame cabana. They have archery, rifle shooting, hiking etc on site. They serve home cooked food. It is very tasty and clean. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming again for sure

We had a great time at the villa. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the location is convenient, with a great pool and jacuzzi. The owner is a very nice gentleman who warmly welcomed us and was available on call. He recommended places to visit and advised on the local amenities. The villa is also in pristine condition with air conditioning, and all the amenities. The hosts also arranged meals for us for an extra but reasonable cost and they were delicious. All in all 10/10 experience! Would visit once again!!
