We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!

We were 3 adults and 1 child, and we all absolutely loved this place. The people there are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. The local breakfast was amazing — fresh, authentic, and prepared with care. The house itself is new and absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. The location is perfect — very close to Horton Plains, which is truly a must-visit. At the same time, the area is not crowded with tourists, making it peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Icy Falls Hotel – Ohiya, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Our stay at Icy Falls Hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely exceptional — endlessly courteous, genuinely kind, and always smiling. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A wonderful group of young lads and girls eagerly helped with our luggage and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Sandun, the manager, made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible showing every courtesy along the way, and adding his own personal touch with getting involved in the games and activities 😊🤗 What truly made the experience special was their warmth and hospitality. We were invited to join in games, from playing Carrom to enjoying a fun game of street cricket 🏏, creating memories filled with laughter and connection 👏🫶😆. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with good air conditioning ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is perfect — just a short distance from Horton Plains, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The views from Icy Falls Hotel are absolutely breathtaking. On clear days, the far-reaching scenery is incredible. The hotel does sit within the clouds at times, but this only adds to the magic and atmosphere — certainly no cause for complaint. The food was absolutely delicious 😋, and all facilities were spotlessly clean and well looked after. I can recommend Icy Falls Hotel without any hesitation whatsoever. We truly arrived as guests but left as lifelong friends — friendships I will cherish forever ❤️❤️❤️.

The dinner 😋😋😋 as amazing one of the best I had. Hot water was great after the hike . They woke up at 5 am gave me tea and small breakfast and when I came back they gave hot tea and the butter and toast thingy . Yumm Accommodation are basic the view on patio is great . I arrived there and just enjoyed resting . Ahh and only 36 min drive to the park And I believe the are about couple Minutes drive from the train station

Stayed here after pekoe trail stages 10&11. They will pick you up from trailhead if you request. Really nice hot shower, good food, beautiful setting. It was misty the afternoon I arrived but I really enjoyed coffee outside the next morning in the sunshine! Highly recommend.

We were able to spend time in this bungalow very comfortably and relaxedly, like at home. Also, the beautiful surroundings and bungalow here are a very nice place. The food is very tasty. There is free WiFi facility. The place is very neat. I can recommend it to anyone as a place where you can stay freely. Also, the caretakers here are very nice. We received good hospitality. I can say that it is the best place to spend a vacation.

A truly magical place, we had the most amazing stay. A unique small boutique hotel up in the mountains with stunning views, wonderful staff and delicious food. The manager, Eranda is so sincere and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He took us on a walk to the waterfall in the grounds and we had a very informative talk about nature. Such a lovely man. I can't recommend Capoe House enough, it's the nicest place we have ever stayed.
