We came for a kayak trip on the Šalčia and Merkys rivers, which the host kindly organised for us, and stayed the night afterwards. The host was very friendly and gave detailed, clear instructions about everything. There were no problems during our stay. The place is very beautiful, next to a green swampy forest on one side and overlooking a lake on the other, and the sky is mesmerizing when sitting on the porch on a hill! It's a true retreat, away from any noise and surrounded by nature, yet the house is modern, cozy, and has everything you need. It was a pleasure staying here!

Friendly and helpful host, location is absolutely fantastic (we happenned to come on the very few days it was snowing, the yard looked wonderful). We visited mid-winter and came to preheated room, maintaining the fire was and smell of it was a great experience. Wonderful escape from the city life.
