Superb apartment in every way. All the facilities you could think about and more. The host was very friendly and helpful and you could see the effort put into designing, furnishing and equipping an accomodation that exceeds any expectation. Superb view of the fjord from the garden.

The view was breathtaking! Upon our arrival they asked what we wanted for dinner and what time we would like it. Came to the dining room at that time and it was ready for us! We were the only people eating but they still prepared us dinner. In addition there was such a wonderful buffet breakfast for us with so many options even though it seemed like there were only a few guest staying. Room was simple but comfortable and clean.

Great super clean apartment with great views of the fjord. Very polite hostess. We arrived after 22:00 and the pool was closed as it was late. But at my request, the hostess opened the pool for us in the morning. The warm water in the pool and this view made my morning.

The village house is utterly charming. After being there one day, I told my folks that I’d decided to stay forever and the Norwegian authorities would have to drag me out kicking and screaming. The heat works great and there was plenty of hot water. The views from the house are fantastic. There’s a church next door that was built in 18-something but there’s been a church there since 1330 and don’t forget to check out the 1,000 year-old cross by the church’s front door. The host was very kind and responsive. The price is quite attractive compared to the two hotels downtown and in my opinion you get so much more for your money with the village house. Finally, I measured the walk from the Joker grocery downtown to the front step of the house and it’s exactly 1/2 mile, or a 10-minute slow (and very pretty) walk.

We had a wonderful and extremely enjoyable stay, the place is better than photos, view is amazing, Ann and her husband were friendly and very responsive . I’d highly recommend. And definitely will come back
