This is without doubt the best hotel of my several weeks long trip to Norway and back again. I discovered it accidentally and at first just came to see the lighthouse and have a dinner. But spending some time there made me think that I actually want to return for a night at this place. And oh boy, it exceeded all my expectations! It was two orders of magnitude better than hotels twice the price. I'm not sure if I've ever met so friendly and helpful staff who really made the whole difference - it felt more like staying at a friend's place rather than at a hotel. The food was great, the bed - one of the best I've ever slept on. And it's a pity I had time only for one night, I already miss this place and want to come back. Oh, and of course - the location and the opportunity to climb up an operating lighthouse! Also, please, pretty please, make it possible to come there for the nothern lights!

The room had a superb view of the port and the beds were very comfortable. The two kitchens were very well equipped and there was a really nice living room. We really enjoyed our chat with the host who told us about the store and the town. And it is close to Slettnes Fyr. This was our first stay in Gamvik and we have already booked for next year. Thank you.

The Blue House at the end of the World is a very comfortable and cozy place to stay at the true end of the world in Mehamn. The host is wonderful and very helpful! When I will return to Mehamn I am definitely going to stay at the Blue House again!

Nice staff, good location. They had delicious local food in their restaurant, which was open and available until late hours
