Gorgeous stunning vacation home, large, clean, comfortable, well appointed. Near lake Opuha. The home is private, but in a compound of other nice homes. we met the neighbors, who welcomed us and were so kind. Highly recommend this place!

We loved every part of this stay. The cosiness of the room, the cleanliness, the atmosphere. We were greeted by Murray and Jackie, and shown our room, very warm and welcoming. They also farewelled us and it was awesome. Will definitely come back. The best so far on our trip.

Like the title, it was off the grid. Powered by generator and a little out of town 10 km but we loved it. The views were magnificent.

The apartment was perfect. Super clean, comfortable and well stocked. Host left us some basic food items as we were getting in late and the stores were already closed.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook.

Very comfortable & quiet spot w/very good wifi. You can even check out their sheeps in the morning. About a 20 min. drive east of Tekapo on the way back to Christchurch at about ½ the price of staying in Tekapo.

Offering free WiFi, the Aorangi Motel is set in a quiet area just 3 minutes' walk from Fairlie's shops, restaurants and bars. Lake Tekapo is a 30-minute drive from the property.

Great location and an all-around wonderful stay. The staff were absolutely adorable — incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Cleanliness was spotless throughout, and the decoration was thoughtful and tasteful, making the place feel warm and inviting. The space was spacious and very practical, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Parking was easy, which was a real plus. And once again, a special mention for the amazing staff — they truly made the difference. Highly recommended!
