The property was really clean and the view amazing. The food was good and the staff made us feel really welcomed. Definitely it’s a place that we will visit again and hopefully we will say hello to our newly made friend from the bar/reception.

Nice Motel on the road to Bulgaria in the middle of the mountains and the river, super friendly staff, confortable room, free parking and good breakfast.

The facility was nice and clean. Its not the best facility regarding the conditions for sleep and stay but for the money which I paid it's decent.. Furniture, frigde and tv were decent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Am avut o experiență foarte frumoasă la Pensiunea El Ryo și cu siguranță vom reveni cu drag! Totul a fost la superlativ: camere foarte curate, spațioase și confortabile, amenajate cu mult bun gust. Se vede că se pune accent pe curățenie și pe confortul oaspeților. Personalul este extrem de amabil, atent și primitor, iar atmosfera este una foarte plăcută și relaxantă. Un mare plus este și restaurantul, unde am mâncat foarte bine – preparatele sunt gustoase, porțiile generoase, iar servirea este promptă. Locația este foarte bună pentru cei care vor să viziteze Călimănești și împrejurimile, iar parcarea este un alt avantaj important. Per total, o pensiune care merită din plin recomandată! Raportul calitate-preț este foarte bun, iar ospitalitatea oamenilor ne-a făcut să ne simțim ca acasă. Felicitări întregii echipe El Ryo și mulțumim pentru tot! ❤️ Recomand cu toată încrederea! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything very nice ,very clean Stuff excellent

The apartment was relatively clean and renovated (as of July 2026). Everything functioned well. Each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen hall combo is pretty roomy and is suitable for parties.

Exceptional staff who make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Having access to both indoor and outdoor pools is a huge plus, and the spa is top-notch. Overall, a genuinely relaxing experience for both the mind and body.

Excellent inn - blending rural accents with very modern appointments. Probably the largest shower booth I've seen in all my stays in Romania. Area is very scenic. From the balcony on the second floor you get great expansive views of Olt River. Very large restaurant with a nice patio surrounded by plants and beautiful landscaping. Brick outdoor pizza oven, plenty of parking. Food at the restaurant was delicious. They cook dishes that are not commonly offered in restaurants. You might need to stay an extra day or two just to try some of the deliciously sounding food. You know how some accommodations have elaborate names with no connection to the reality in the field? Well, Hanul cu Salcii (loose translation The Willows Inn) is not.one or those. Many willow trees lining one side of the property....you can gaze at them from your room's balcony.

Beautiful new house, safe gated parking with cameras, nice pool, big shared kitchen space, comfortable room.

Quiet and clean. Hosts are accomodating and helpfull.
