LuxembourgWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Conacul Törzburg. The rooms and the entire hotel were extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the view of the castle was absolutely beautiful. The dinner was delicious, just like the breakfast. Everything was nicely, tastefully, and freshly presented.
The waitress, the receptionist, the housekeeper, and the concierge were all incredibly kind and friendly. As it had snowed heavily overnight, one of the staff members even cleared the snow off our car and brought it out of the parking space for us. Our luggage was also carried to our room.
The castle is less than a 5-minute walk away. We highly recommend this hotel.

United KingdomWe arrived early for checkin, receptionist let us park so we could go explore, very helpful at checkin as we said we would be leaving early the next morning as she arranged for us to have a breakfast to go. The room was amazing as had asked for a view of Bran castle and it delivered. Fantastic

SlovakiaThe staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They satisfied us in every way. All necessary equipment is present. Room net and clean. Cleaning ladys very discreet. There is plenty of space in the private parking lot. Great breakfast with local products. Restaurant has a perfect kitchen. The dinners were very tasty. Shefcook is excellent, all credit.

2: Skip the lines and just go to the park around it for free.
3: In the park (Free admission, no lines) there is an official Bran Castle shop under the castle.
4: Bring your dogs to the park, but NOT ALLOWED in the castle
5: Prepare for long lines, crowded in the castle and no photos allowed in many areas.
6: Parking is 20 RON a day, cash only

The castle is over touristed, and the restaurants in town are crap
If you want to visit the castle, don’t stay in Bran, make it a day visit from Brasov which is much nicer
If you want to explore a great spooky castle without everything roped off and out of bounds, visit Corbin Castle in Hunedoara which is much better bang for fang

We went there for our son's wedding and it was in the grounds and the party in the castle r until 5am. We were given a tour which was very informative and the whole experience was hugely memorable!

The views from the apartment were amazing, you wake up 3 minutes away from Bran castle! Room condition was great, everything was clean and working, the common kitchen is equipped with everything needed.
We wanted to specifically thank the owner lady, who was very kind, helped us with directions to the bus and other small requests. 🫶🏻 Very helpful

The hotel is in a great location, and we had a view of Bran Castle from our room.
The breakfast menu has four options; we tried two and were very satisfied.
The interior is very nice, with lots of beautiful design details.
Slippers and a robe were provided, as was a minibar.

We stayed in something like a small apartment with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were very polite, and the place was clean. There was a nice view of the mountains. We had a wardrobe and a working refrigerator :) It was about 8 minutes by car from Bran Castle. 🏔️🚗

Liked everything! Very clean rooms/ apartments. Intimate feeling of a comfortable cozy cottage. Maria is a wonderful hostess and will go out of her way to please everyone. Peaceful place to relax and unwind, amazing breakfast with traditional and local fresh produce and mountainous surroundings to enjoy. Bran castle is very close and it’s worth visiting.

Chose the hotel for the proximity to Bran castle and market and it more than lived up to the expectation, short walk from everything.
The staff was amazing and were more than willing to help with all i needed, the accommodation was perfect.
The restaurant is wonderful and a table can be reserved in advance,
The room was large and beautiful, the view from the top room was a thing of beauty.
Would happily return!

Very nice hotel to stay while visiting Bran castle. It's a bit far away from castle itself but not too far to walk there. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Location was excellent, view from room of Bran castle must be the best available (& windows open fully). Easy, free, secure parking behind hotel. Breakfast & dinner in the garden was very good. Owners very welcoming and helpful - assisted with booking a bear watching trip up in the mountains for the next day - luckily they could fit me in, but would recommend personally phoning a few days in advance to avoid missing out (a number of bear watching companies are listed in the Rough Guide to Romania book) - definitely worth doing.
