The location is really close to the center and to the major attractions. We arrived early but could check in quite fast. We had parking on the site which was so comfortable. The room was very big, clean and with the most comfortable bed I ve used in a while. Breakfasts quite varied and very good.

comfy bed, clean bathroom, just gorgeous big room. we had a small balcony as well with a little bit of city view and a little kitten visitor one evening 🥰 location is great as well, like 10 min walking from old town. it is quiet most of the day but especially at night, the property is at the end of the road backing up a hill. very delicious breakfast 😋 that homemade looking cake was definitely the highlight!

Everything. We've stayed at this hotel twice before and we highly recommend it. It has the kind of elegance not seen since the beginning of the 20th century. At the same time it has all the modern conveniences. The rooms are huge and so are the bathrooms. Many of the rooms have their own sauna. The views are unbeatable, the breakfast is excellent and I could go on and on. They also have a big playroom for kids. A special mention for the amazing staff who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I mention in particular Claudia and Robert with whom I interacted the most.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. Special shoutout to Gigi at the reception, who was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to assist me. My room was spotless and offered a beautiful view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and attentive staff. Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience, and I can't wait to return!

We would like to say thank you to the hotel and its staff for a good holiday! The room was clean and warm, towels, slippers and bathrobes were enough for everyone, great shower gel. The breakfasts were delicious. The spa area was always clean and the pool was warm. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Thank you very much to the waiters, the service was just like at home. We will definitely come again!

this is quite a big montain resort, but the restaurant nor the spa never felt too crowded. There was some confusion about the amenities in the room as hotel informed us on arrival that info on booking.com is not accurate, but they did their best to provide what we needed. the best was the outside jacuzzi pool with wonderfull views.

The view was breathtaking, it was like a fairytale because it snowed and we had wine near the campsite and the folk music was perfect for that evening ..."a venit iarnaaa". We were looking for base in Brasov with easy parking from where we can do trips. So parking is not a problem. Room was big and clean but with older equipment. There is no breakfast though but you can buy something in Lidl nearby.

Places to eat and drink were very reasonably priced. Lovely little place called Mustata” own brew beer and food was outstanding. Don’t bother with Chinese across the road, not the best. Bus from train station to centre cost buttons.

Nice town, beautiful, lush nature, close to Sinaia and Brasov, way too crowded downtown, barely any parking lots. Many places to eat, especially in the centre. You have the Bran Castle and the kitschy Valea cu povesti in the Club Vila Bran for smaller kids. You also have the Horror House, not for kids under 12.

Stunning medieval town surrounded by mountain peaks. Romania has a unique east meets west character. Venues have rich colours adorned with South American style fabrics and lots of wool and sheepskins. Beautiful food. Skiing is very good here

Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park Much more chilled area. Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road. Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house. Also lovely walk in forest just beside there. Rasnov Fort is closed. But still a fun adventure to go up into the outer walls. Lift or walk up steps. Go to Dino Park just beside on the same day I suggest.

A great town with a lot of interesting places to visit however isince few years ago you can see a degradation with roads that are left without repairs, houses left occupied, fewer tourists than before....

There are a lot of accomodations, for all tastes and purses. You can find a lot of good restaurans( I liked Vallahia Inn very much). It is very busy on weekends and the traffic on the main road to Bran can get to a standstill. It is a good starting point for hikers for Bucegi Mt. or Piatra Craiului. One can also go to Bran, Fundata, Rasnov, Brasov etc

Făgăraș is located almost halfway between the larger cities of Brașov and Sibiu, both of which have a well-known tourist reputation. However, it is worth taking the time to stop in Făgăraș. Făgăraș is a tourist destination in its own rights. The Făgăraș Fortress is a must-see! There is a wide variety of restaurants and food options available. The Daffodil Meadow is a great place for nature lovers and is only 25 minutes away. There are also several monasteries within 20–25 minutes that are not to be missed.

Beautiful nature, fresh air, nice people, a lot to see around if you have a car. I recommend to go to 7 Ladders Canyon, it's only few minutes drive away from Sacele. Salt mines are great, Bran's castle also not far if you drive. Be careful with Tampa mountain - we chose the entrance up in hill and it was very hard hike, but if you choose entrance down the hill where funikuler should be (it is under reconstruction now) then hike is easier.

Fundata is one of those rare places where time slows down and nature takes center stage. Nestled at 1,360 meters, it’s the highest village in Romania, and you feel that altitude in the crisp air, sweeping views, and peaceful silence. It’s ideal for anyone craving a break from city chaos. Fundata is remote, but manageable. If you’re driving, the roads are winding but scenic. Public transport is limited, so a car is highly recommended. Once you’re there, most places are walkable or accessible by short drives. GPS works well, but cell signal can be patchy in the hills.
