The room was very clean, the personal was very polite and helpful. The price was reasonable (maybe because it's not the winter season). The most we liked was the food - very delicious, reasonable prices and big portions! It was not in the middle of the season, but the nature around was incredible, we enjoyed fresh air, beautiful castles, and other kind of attractions. We recommend the hotel, the destination and the food! If you wish a peaceful and calm place to relax from the busy everyday life- it's your place :-)

A great town with a lot of interesting places to visit however isince few years ago you can see a degradation with roads that are left without repairs, houses left occupied, fewer tourists than before....

I spent a few summer days in Predeal, and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful and refreshing places I’ve visited in Romania. I arrived on a quiet morning, welcomed by cool mountain air and the fresh scent of pine trees — the perfect escape after the noise and heat of the city. I stayed at a cozy guesthouse near the forest, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Each morning started with a cup of coffee and the sound of birds, while the sun slowly lit up the ridges in the distance. I went on light hikes to Cabana Susai and through the surrounding woods — well-marked trails, great for relaxing without being too challenging. In the evenings, I tried a few local restaurants and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Trout and wild mushroom stew were definitely highlights. The atmosphere was calm, the locals were friendly, and everything moved at a slower, more peaceful pace. What I appreciated most about Predeal was the combination of natural beauty, clean air, and how easy it was to get there. No crowds, no stress. Just nature, quiet, and time to breathe. I’ll definitely be going back.

Beautiful mountain resort in one of the highest points on...

Beautiful mountain resort in one of the highest points on the Prahova Valley. Amazing forests and nearby mountains, great for hiking trails during the summer and skying in the winter. Beware of the wild bears though, they've become a dangerous problem as of 2025!

It's a very nice mountain resort, not too big, not too...

It's a very nice mountain resort, not too big, not too complicated to walk around. Many restaurants are serving local food and drinks, but other type of food and drinks is also available. There are few ski slopes in the area, with teleski, chairlift and a school slope with escalator. Sledge slopes are separated from ski slopes. There are many ski/snowboard schools and equipment rentals. The place is beautiful both in winter and in summer. You can walk the local mountain trails.

Predeal is a very nice little resort town to stay if you...

Predeal is a very nice little resort town to stay if you visit Prahova Valley. Quiet, comfortable commuting by train in either direction. It is particularly good in winter season if you come for skiing.

Once upon a time it was a nice town in the Carpathian...

Once upon a time it was a nice town in the Carpathian mountains called Predeal. Nowadays it is not even I shadow of what it used to before 1990 when I left my native Romania. It is not worth stopping in Predeal in summertime - for us one night was too much. Hopefully in winter might look better, if there is enough snow to cover everything, or just skip it and go straight to Sinaia or Brasov for a better experience.

Big apartment with an extendable sofa. Huge bed in the bedroom. One of the best and most varied breakfast in Romanian hotels. Pool is big enough. Restaurant food was ok, nothing special about it, not bad but definitely could be improved. Enough parking places...if you happen to arrive early. If not, you can fid some by the Petrom gas station.

Very comfortable bed and big bathroom. Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel. We were the only occupied room in the whole hotel, it was quite spooky. :D But they still made us a great big breakfast. :) We made the reservation quite late so when we arrived there was no one there. But after a phone call the receptionist arrived soon. :)

It was lovely to come back to Robinson Hotel in Predeal (the actual Elexus Boutique)! The deluxe apartment was very comfortable and from the balcony you could see the beautiful snow cap mountains. There was an abundant buffet breakfast with a variety of delicious meats, cheeses, fruits, sweets and cakes and very nice coffee and drinks.
