An incredibly cozy and very clean villa in the best area of Bușteni, close to all the main attractions. The host is extremely kind and welcoming. Very kind with check-in and check out time with us. When we arrived, we were greeted with their special sweets. There’s a cute little yard with a grill, table and chairs, and they even gave us firewood to enjoy a campfire—it was such a lovely experience! Suitable for 2 families to enjoy renting a whole house with a fully kitchen, frigider and very soft and clean beds.

The castle is pleasant and worth a visit.

The castle is pleasant and worth a visit. The Telecabin is weather dependent and expensive so choose your dates, and be wary of queue times. Otherwise the village is run down, with little to do and feels very neglected. Nicer to find a trail and go walking. Glad I went but one day was more than enough - sorry!

We only spent one night in Busteni, in order to visit the Cantacuzino Palace. Our impression was that the resort is not very well managed -- some roads were under construction with very little signage or access instructions, a lot of restaurants appeared on the map but were in reality closed for good (not just for the season). In fact, we weren't able to find one with a terrace, to have lunch, and driving around is not an option -- the main street is always packed with cars back to back. We managed to visit the Cantacuzino Palace, but only because we got there before they opened -- it seems part of the Netflix series Wednesday was shot there, and now the palace has accrued the Netflix kind of fame. There were several huge busses filled with Ukrainian visitors at the gate. When we got out, after the visit, the queue was at least a hundred people long (and that's without counting the organized groups, they had separate access).

Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley.

Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. If you're up for it, the hike or cable car up to the Heroes’ Cross on Caraiman is well worth the effort—stunning views from up there.

If you're visiting to go see the mountains this is a great place. If you're looking for a city to walk through and do stuff in, it's almost useless. You can find good food, sure. But nothing to do in the city, per say. The attraction comes from the amazing mountain routes.

Beautiful Bucegi mountains views everywhere!

Beautiful Bucegi mountains views everywhere! That's why people come here! But you have to put up with bad traffic, especially weekends! It can be a great hub for quick trips around to Sinaia, Predeal, Brasov and of course Bran Castle! Good food to be had, @ La Etaj, Casa Ancutei, Casa Magical!

The apartment K1 is on the top floor of a villa situated close to the forest at the feet of Mount Caraiman, at the edge of Busteni. You have the top floor all for your self: two spacious bedrooms, nice living room with dining corner and a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms and the living room have access to spacious terraces. Everything is awesome: the are, the property, the apartment … everything!!

As Busteni is a small town, everything's within walking distance (supermarket, restaurants, train station, mountains). The host is a very kind person and has good recommendations for restaurants on hand! We stayed in the small house with a fully equipped kitchen and a little balcony. Great place to spend a couple of days in Busteni!

The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and very nicely decorated within the hotel theme. We really enjoyed ourselves at the spa (Saunas and Pool). The restaurant was amazing as well, really good food at balanced prices.
