I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for just one day, but my experience was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredible—so friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. They truly went above and beyond to make my short stay as smooth as possible. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, offering all the comfort I could ask for. Even though my stay was brief, I got to enjoy the delicious breakfast, which had a fantastic variety and was served at convenient hours. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and stress-free experience. I’ll definitely come back if I get the chance!

FAQs about hotels in Bucharest

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernisation processes, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city centre and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable-stayed bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

Whilst admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 330,000 m². Make sure you admire the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 18 km from the city centre, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!

Bucharest is a vibrant and pleasant city with a great mix of history, architecture, and green areas. Walking along the river and through the old town was very enjoyable, with plenty of good restaurants and cafés. The city is easy to get around, affordable, and felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely visit again.

Bucharest is a nice city if you could appreciate a bit the history. The famous restaurant "Caru cu bere" became quite expensive. Excellent and cheap public transport. Cafeterias and cake shops more expensive than Vienna or Rome.

Big city with a huge diversification in society, though it can be quite gritty with dirty streets and many people screaming or sleeping in the open. However, the transport system is good; the metro, buses, and trams work very well, with the buses and trams being particularly comfortable and frequent, changing every 7 to 9 minutes. It is a great historical place with a fascinating mix of culture and architecture, though the social contrast between different areas is very noticeable

What a great city!

What a great city! No wonder that it was known as"Little Paris". Lots of things to see - especially loved the Cismigiu Gardens and Constitution Square. The Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral is a must to see. The old buildings that remain are fantastic - in their heyday this would have been a truly marvellous city, a real pity that many were knocked down to give way to Ceausescu's dream.

The hotel is at an excellent location, at the very centre of the old city centre of Bucharest. Many central places of interest are really close to reach on foot. Nearby there are numerous restaurants and cafes. (This is also a minus, see below.) The room was very clean, towels were changed daily (even though I didn't ask for it for sustainability reasons) and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, with some choices, though not too rich. The staff was very friendly and helpful to my questions.

Staff was very friendly, i had very fast checkin at 3am in the morning, they have 24 hours counter. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. I stayed in the hotel and not the hostel. They serve very tasty food at very reasonable prices. Location was perfect, just 10 mins walk and you are on old town street. Super markets and restaurants are also at 10 mins walk. Hotel does not have Hotel 5 Star signboard, rater its MichaelAgnelo Hotel.

Very clean hotel. We had 3 rooms on floors 3, 4 and 7. All very clean and with excellent facilities. Very hot upon arrival but we were able to adjust the thermostat on the heating. Breakfast was also surprisingly good for a 3* hotel. The location is perfect, in the centre of Bucharest, close to Metro and bus stops, museums, restaurants and the Old Town. The staff is very kind and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.

For the price, this hotel was genuinely outstanding...beautiful old-school decor, a huge room, fantastic shower, right in the centre of the old town right beside restaurants, coffee shops, etc, and with exemplary staff - the receptionist really made me feel very welcome.
