Everything in hotel was neat, clean and staff were helpful. The hotel and room had all requirements and equipment. The bed also was comfortable. The curtain inside the room was WONDERFUL , it was sub protection which is really needed.

The room was much bigger than I expected. We were in the middle of the center of Bucharest, so it was easy to go to places. We had a rented car and it was also easy to park near and in the hotel parking. I asked the front desk what we could visit in Bucharest and he immediately printed pages of all the landmarks, which we then took with us and were a great help. I would have stayed longer if I could. Really enjoyed everything!

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed is very comfortable and I've always slept well when staying here. It's located near the main station (Gara de Nord) but that noise won't bother you. I haven't met the staff as I typically arrive late but when I have a very early travel the next day, this is definitely my go-to stay in Bucharest.

Bucharest is a very interesting and vibrant city with beautiful architecture, good restaurants, and many attractions worth visiting. The city has a unique atmosphere that combines historical buildings with modern urban life. One important thing to keep in mind is the heavy traffic, especially during peak hours. Traffic jams can significantly extend travel times across the city. In addition, many parking areas in the center are paid, and finding available parking spaces may sometimes be difficult. For this reason, it is highly recommended to organize accommodation with a private parking space, preferably in a location close to the city center. This makes the stay much more comfortable and convenient, especially for travelers arriving by car.

A decent city for a short trip.

A decent city for a short trip. Due to the Muppet in the White House our travel both ways was an experience, to say the least, with flight cancellations, so had two days less than we wanted, but the experience whilst there was good. There's plenty to see and do, and the natives are very friendly and helpful, with English widely spoken.

A city with history and potential, but also with poor local governance - an unacceptable number of abandoned and poorly looking premises in the otherwise wonderful city centre. But this is a problem in many European capitals. Otherwise it is a safe city (excluding high risk of petty theft), with a polite population.

Bucharest felt very similar to Prague or Budapest but...

Bucharest felt very similar to Prague or Budapest but without being as pretty or historic. You can visit all the main attractions in a day, certainly in two days. The old town area is really enjoyable to spend time in, having a drink or food in one of the many vibrant busy bars and watching the world go by.

Bucharest is grand and great architecture - very busy and noisy in the old town - this is not an old town like you get other places - on a weekend it is like a lads / stag holiday destination - touts outside all bars, groups of men, strip joints etc - not unsafe - but it is not a cute old town - move further down near Novatel and onwards that way. I think 1 night enough for us, a full afternoon and a morning is suffice and then move on to the amazing other parts of Romania like Brasov.

Bucharest is a super interesting city, with varied architectures. Some might need some renovation but a very good impression the city gives to the visitor. There are plenty of interesting museums as well but make sure you plan your holiday to prevent public holidays as at those days almost no institution is open.
