I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly, and always willing to help. They even arranged a late check-out without any issues, which was greatly appreciated. The location is quiet yet very convenient, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money. I would happily stay here again..

FAQs about hotels in Bucharest

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernisation processes, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city centre and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable-stayed bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

Whilst admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 330,000 m². Make sure you admire the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 18 km from the city centre, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!

Buildings (architecture from Communism period), new roads,...

Buildings (architecture from Communism period), new roads, affordable prices, many options for amusement, museums, parks, hospitable and helpful people, many English speakers in Romania. Favorite spot is the Romanian Parliament and Cismigiu park, recommened to visit! Very easy to get around, Bucharest has bog organized metro along with buses and tram. If you need to travel in the countryside, Gara de Nord hosts the national railway with several AirBnb and hotels around it. Nothing, i didnt regret for anything. Just when you go out of the airports (either Otopeni or Baneasa), ride the bus 100 or 190 respectively to go directly in the city center with very very low cost, DON'T take a taxi except of those who carry several luggages.

Bucharest is the largest capital city in Eastern Europe, with many nice places to visit, museums, Parliment Palace, Athenee Palace, Arch of Triumph, historic churches, nice malls(AFI, Baneasa). The city is very safe and very affordable by European standards, with many good places to eat. Last but not least, people are very friendly.

Bucharest was a nice city. This time I travelled with my teenage child, but the city would probably be more suitable for adult travellers. The Old Town was quite a party area and not a very peaceful neighbourhood.

Bucharest is a complex city, with both good and bad aspects,...

Bucharest is a complex city, with both good and bad aspects, although for me the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. The biggest downside is the traffic. there are a lot of cars, noise, and drivers can be quite aggressive at times. On the positive side, it's a vibrant and dynamic city with plenty of great restaurants, nightlife, and always something new to discover. From a business perspective, it's a strong hub for networking, events, and opportunities, making it a great place for entrepreneurs and professionals. Overall, it's a city that keeps growing and evolving, attracting people from all over the world and offering a diverse mix of cultures, experiences, and food. That being said, summers can be extremely hot, which isn't ideal considering how much of the city is covered in concrete. Overall, I'd rate Bucharest a 3.5 out of 5. It's not perfect, but it's a city with a lot of energy, opportunities, and potential.

Bucharest has everything.

Bucharest has everything. I love big cities with a lot of old sites. Bucharest has them in every corner. For the nature's lover Sismigiu Park, Herastrau Park, and Thransfagarasan are unbeatable. Bucharest has not been discovered yet.It is a very charming city with a very particular vibe and character. Romanians are friendly, and polite. On top of that, the city is still very affordable.Bucharest is also very peaceful and is full of trees that that give off a scent similar to jasmine. It is like being in Istanbul, where people use my favorite scent a lot.

Owner was super nice providing check-in details and other necessary information in advance. Even at night, I didn't have any problems finding the apartment and entering. The owner found a passport photo shop for me and I was able to have photos. The room is super clean, spacious and located right in the old town. My room was very quiet and has many little things only 5 star hotel provides. The price is very competitive compared to the facility and location. My wife was extremely happy and slept so well.

My favorite hotel in Bucharest. It's a little gem close to centrum. The kitchen i will give 5 stars. I called it Cinderella hotel because it is small and cosy. They only have 5 room's so you need to book a week before. There's a reason it always fully booked. I can only recommend this nice little hotel. Bo karup. Denmark.
