Good location, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Very good sound insulation on the windows.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Matisse Bucharest Old Town and I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by the incredible staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The level of hospitality here is unmatched. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who ensured our room was immaculate but mostly to the front desk team, Bogan and Alice, who welcomed us with smiles, and offered thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, updated our rooms without extra charge (just because they could) and safeguarded our luggage until we returned from a 3 days trip abroad! Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The hotel itself is beautiful, classy with modern amenities, and a cosy, inviting atmosphere, exactly at the centre of the Old Town. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff made us feel like valued guests, not just a room number. They anticipated all of our needs. It’s these personal touches that make all the difference. Kindness and professionalism like Bogan's and Alice's were truly outstanding and made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury, comfort, and exceptional service, look no further. The staff at Matisse Bucharest Old Town are the heart and soul of this establishment, and they made our stay an absolute delight. We can't wait to return, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and positive experience.

The location is convenient, there are a lot of city landmarks around, many Cafes, street food and grosseries.

Everything is at its best. Starting from the cleanliness, to the amenities, to the staff, everything was 10+. I travelled with a two year old,they contacted me beforehand and they made sure everything was prepared for us, including the cot. The location is in the very heart of the city, so if you want a good time around the pubs and restaurants within a few mins of walking, this is the place for you. I truly recommend the hotel, it's so pretty and modern, and has all the top-notch technology . Will definitely return !

Dont be deceived with the dodgy look of the main gate and hallway. Once you are inside the flat, wow! It’s new, clean and minmilist. Also, it’s in the old town and lots of restaurants outside. Tour meet ups and airport buses are jusy 3-4 mins walk. Bucharest attractions are just walking distance as well. So far this is the most relaxing, convenient and accessible stay i ever had in Europe. Easy check in and out as well.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Bucharest for three nights. The apartment exceeded my expectations, matching both the photos and the many positive reviews it had received. The location was excellent, within walking distance of all major attractions, and the host was readily available to assist if needed. Accessing the keys was incredibly easy, and the proximity to public transportation was an added bonus for those who prefer to use it. Despite its central location, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was—I didn’t notice any noise at all. If I return to Bucharest, I’ll definitely book this apartment again. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, amazing apartment. Looks exactly like in the pictures, clean, well designed, well equipped. I would totally recommend.
