Huge, very clean flat. Everything was rather new and very modern. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of different choices. City centre only 25min walking distance (or you can take the metro). AC in bedroom and in living room was a big plus. Big balcony for a relaxed morning coffee. Very nice and helpful staff.

Fantastic apartment-style space that was located directly in Old Town! Loved the high ceilings and interior design. The sound isolation inside the room is top-notch and was highly appreciated being in Old Town, which can get loud at night/on the weekends. Additionally, the Matisse provides much more space than a traditional hotel would ever offer, especially with its prime location. Highly appreciated the flexibility and allowing to do an early check-in and hold bags due to our chaotic travel schedule. Costin was amazing and would absolutely seek to stay here again when in Bucharest! Recommend to all travelers (Business, Families, partners)!

The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay.
Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried.
The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner.
The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on.
We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.

Everything was great. Receptionst apologised to me like 15 times because I had to wait few minutes at the check-in. He was also very welcoming and super nice. Bed was awesome. You also get coffee and tea. Everything was clean. Heating was working well.
