It is very beautifully furnished and everything is clean! If you pay for breakfast they make fresh coffee and a fresh omelette for you! I was afraid there would be aircraft noise because it's so close to the airport but there was none of it! It was very quiet.

I came to like otopeni for its convenience to the spa.

I came to like otopeni for its convenience to the spa. I found bucurest busy, chaotic and with a lot of traffic so we were very lucky to be in the spa in and out within 10 to 15 minutes depending on the airbnb. We had a car and going in and out the spa and around otopeni was useful. I dont think you can walk around in the busy street. However I do not recommend driving in bucurest because if something goes wrong they have very strict driving rules and very strict police and I ended up having a lot of issues.

For car enthusiasts, the Tiriac Collection Museum is a must-have experience (my son and I are car fanatics and spent more than 5 hours there). A large number of cars, both classic and modern, including unique pieces such as the Ferrari LaFerrari and Mercedes-AMG One. Free water available at the reception, coffee for an additional charge. As car enthusiasts, we give it 10 stars out of 5. Absolutely amazing. I can also highly recommend Therme. We only visited one of the three sections because of my son’s age (something you should definitely pay attention to), but we really liked it. Nice water slides, pools, pool bars both inside and outside, lots and lots of greenery, and even during busy hours we were able to find free sunbeds. Also open until late.

Otopeni has a nice neighbourhood, quiet, close to the airport and Therme Bucharest. Some streets are currently under construction and therefore closed which makes traffic congestion, but hopefully will be settled soon

The security check is very efficient.

The security check is very efficient. Not enough places to sit, but it is nice that the airport has a lot of restaurants and options for eating. I really liked the Chozen Noodles restaurant. There are enough bathrooms which is appreciable. The queues at boarding are sometimes too long for the capacity of the airport and it makes moving through the airport difficult when it is crowded.

The trip was because of Therme Bucharest, but I am disappointed with their business practices. I ordered tickets through the website for entry to Therme Bucharest, but the tickets go through one of their partners, Headout, which did not send one ticket for an adult even though it was charged. I tried to arrange a refund through emails because I had to pay for that ticket again at the entrance to the pools. An employee warned me that I would not get a refund from the mentioned Headout, and she was right. I received 50% even though I did not cancel the booking; I simply did not receive the ticket from them by email. Although I ordered the tickets, I only received 3 out of the 4 that I paid for. I also wrote to Therme Bucharest, but then they started shifting responsibility between each other, so I gave up.

The hotel was warm, friendly welcoming and convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport worked well. The hotel was clean and there were helpful amenities such as tea/ coffee and water in rooms. The restaurant was good value with a varied menu , food was great, served promptly. All staff spoke English, and all were friendly and keen to help. Location was perfect for prompt connections to flights. There are good public transport links into the city too. There is no lift, but this was not an issue as staff helped to carry bags. No noticeable noise from airport or main road with windows closed. No noise from other guests.

Great location near the little station that connects to the city. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Handy shuttle bus to the airport. Nice big clean room at the back of the hotel, very quiet. Didn't try the bar, restaurant or fitness facilities. Good communication when I emailed. We had an early check-in as arrived ~0900hrs. We prefer a shower rather than a bath. But no problem. Good to have Safe in room.

Very good location, less than 10 minutes walk to the Departures terminal at Otopeni Airport. Perfect for staying overnight before an early morning flight. Very clean apartment, there's 2 bedrooms with double beds, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Not noisy at all considering you are next to the airport and the road. Easy instructions and clear communication with the host via Whatsapp.

We loved that we could rest without hearing a plane. Also we were taken to the airport and back by the hotel stuff, not to mention that we leaved our car in the hotels parking while being in away. Nice stuff, good food, confy beds. I'll definitely get back
