Old school hotel or motel, nice quiet, right next to the near lake, gives you (in a good sense) a feeling of being a tourist in the 19th century (you can disconnect) and relax. The room was superbly clean and spacious with all needed facilites.

Good breakfast and a comfortable bed

On our way home we just needed a place to sleep. We found Prinsgården by chance and we can absolutely recommend this place. With our arrive we got a warm welcome by the prince, the owner of Prinsgården. He knows a lot about the history of the house. The room was perfect. Cozy and with our own toilet. Fresh bedsheets on the bed and a big towel. Acces to a fully equiped kitchen and a hot shower. We sleeped very well and started the day with a tasty breakfast. Next summer we plan to go back to Sweden and a visit to Prinsgården is definitely on our list.

Clean spacious apartment with private parking lot right outside the premises. Very good location with easy acess to the town center by foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although we had no difficulties finding the keys and settle in, as all instructions and communication with the host was excellent. We stayed just one night because we were on a road trip, but the apartment would easily accomodate us for longer stays (big fridge, fully equipped kitchen e.t.c.). Certainly recommended!

Excellent location on my walk route and near town centre. Plenty of space for me to sort out my possessions. Availability of an effective and easy to use washing machine. Very good kitchen. Everything clean. Secure entry to property. Very quiet.

We really liked the whole house. The house has been renovated with a very good sense of style and is comfortable with the feeling of 100 years ago, many beautiful little details that make you feel like you are in someone's hospitable home. We visited the Carl and Karin Larsson, Anders Zorn and Elsa Beskow museums on our trip, so our accommodation was perfect. The house is spacious and clean. Feel like you're visiting a lovely old aunt. The kitchen had plenty of kitchen equipment and the dining room was so comfortable that we gave up going to a restaurant and cooked dinner at home.
