United StatesHosts were very friendly and helpful with information on the area. The breakfasts were excellent. The history of the house from the host was very entertaining. The location was far enough from the bustle of downtown Durango to be very quiet at night, but easy to walk to downtown so you didn't need to take your car and deal with trying to find parking downtown.

Location is excellent. After checking in, we walked to Durango Main Street. Kids were happy that full breakfast included a waffle maker. Front desk gave us ear plugs for sleep, a doggie treat bag, and a bed spread to put on top of the bed for our mini pincher. An extra $30 daily fee for pet stay, was not bad, on top of the $300/night stay. Kids were excited to see the train station rail yard next to the parking lot.

River view was sublime...we had a hard time leaving the balcony to explore the 10-minute walk to downtown. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. EV charging onsite and free. Grocery store (Albertsons) across the parking lot is a plus!

The hotel is close to downtown Durango, with a short drive or a few minutes walk. It has all the amenities we were looking for. They’re also pet friendly with a fee. A dog park area is easily accessible at the end of the parking lot.

Excellent location, staff were really nice. Bed was comfortable, nice bathroom. But if you are staying in a “palace suite”, it’s in an adjacent building, not attached to the actual hotel, but across the parking lot. Also had a nice breakfast with hot and cold options. I would stay here again for sure :)
