Absolutely beautifully set with native animals.The hosts went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. Secure location and well-appointed and very high standard of accommodation.

Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

Located in Tanunda in the South Australia region and Big Rocking Horse reachable within 42 km, Goat Square House - Historic Row Cottages provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden... Charming, historic cottage with character and privacy. The hosts provided lovely breakfast items and goodies. Perfect little kitchen, and we enjoyed sitting out on the quiet garden patio. It's a short walk to town for groceries, restaurants, coffee, and close to local wineries. The laundry facilities were a nice convenience, too. We loved it here so much.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Grand Cru Estate Homestead is located in Springton. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. I have found many wonderful properties through booking.com -- but this may be the best in terms of location & comfort. Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

Set in Angaston and only 46 km from Big Rocking Horse, Angaston Saleyards Luxury Accommodation offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful house. Very comfortable , clean, spacious, extras like a breakfast basket was lovely.

Featuring garden views, Mataro Cottage features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 47 km from Big Rocking Horse. The cottage was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. There were lots of useful extra's such as milk, tea and coffee. It was located near the centre of Tanunda and we stayed for two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Set in Tanunda, 43 km from Big Rocking Horse, Basedow Units Tanunda offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely spacious home away from home, the decor, furniture and every little item and detail (the air conditioning being on & welcoming us on a hot day) that was provided by Louise was very much appreciated. From the Tim Tams to the generous refreshment and toiletries supplies, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and could quite easily have stayed much longer.

Apartments on Fiedler in Tanunda provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a balcony. We absolutely loved our time in this apartment. It is wonderfully spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and has a real homely feel that made us relax the moment we walked in. The attention to detail is outstanding — everything we could possibly need was provided, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. The location is fantastic too, with easy walking access to cafés, shops, and beautiful Château Tanunda. It couldn’t have been more convenient. A perfect base for exploring the Barossa. We highly recommend this apartment and would happily stay again!
