There is a short stretch of about 30 meters of bumpy dirt road leading to the house from the main road, but the accommodation fee is very reasonable, offering great value for money. Additionally, the male host is a diving photographer, and the underwater photos he takes are beautiful and unique. He also recommended a lesser-known shipwreck free diving spot nearby, which has starfish and various small fish, exceeding my expectations. As a noodle lover, I enjoyed having hot noodles for breakfast every day, and the hosts kindly prepared hot water, bowls, and cups for us, showing great thoughtfulness and attention to detail. I look forward to staying in this cozy home again.

This B&B is set in the shores of the Paradise Bay Beach, 15 minutes’ drive from Exuma International Airport. The property is like your own paradise! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is amazing and genuinely care about your comfort! Cocoplum Bistro which is on the property is fabulous! Give Rudi and Tonya a hello from Vickie and Stoney!! Loved them. On your taxi ride in, get them to stop at a local store to grab snacks and such, it will save you a trip… because you really don’t want to leave.

The location was close to the beach, extremely clean, and had a well stocked kitchenette. We used the alcove between the closet and the bathroom as our dining space, the stools were pretty comfortable and there was enough space for 2 people. The bathroom was also clean and well stocked. It was very helpful that there were left over sunscreens, aloe gels, and general bathroom soaps. We appreciated having the outdoor porch, though small, for more space to sit. The host was very communicative and responsive when I had questions or concerns.

A fantastic place! The owners are incredibly kind, helpful and genuinely warm-hearted. If you’re looking for peace, authenticity and a human touch, this is where you’ll find it. Everything was exactly as it should be and even more. Don’t worry about the distance from the town, the owner will drive you anywhere and show you everything you need. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart.

Valentino is awesome, he is the reason we came back to the Cays. The house was spacious. We loved using the snorkel gear, sunscreen and swim board. Loved having a washer and dryer.

SANDY BOTTOM COTTAGES provides rooms in Mount Thompson. This apartment offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The apartment features a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. We had an amazing stay!! We were collected by our host and taken to the bungalow where we would be staying. The host also had cars for rent and we decided to rent one for our entire stay, so our car was brought to the bungalow upon arrival. Car was in great condition and it was a must if you want to explore the island. Bungalow was comfortable and had all the amenities needed and was as described and shown on booking. The host also had a liquor store which also had some supplies and one evening we bought a bottle of wine. During our stay our host was very nice and kept in contact making sure all was good. And on the last day we could keep the bungalow u til departure and all we did when it was time to depart was leave the car in front of the bungalow and the host collected us and drove us to the airport. It does not get better and easier than this!! We will return again 100% and we highly recommend it.

Located in Staniel Cay, less than 1 km from Pirate Beach, EMBRACE Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Awesome spot! Very clean, Exuma building was very big for our family of 6. Breakfast was hot and choice of the menu (and free), great food (and fast, not typical 45 minute "Bahama time")! Staff was VERY attentive to everything. They were up early each day cleaning the grounds. View of airplanes and ramp for the little airport from our top deck and windows. Island is walkable, but golf cart preferred (especially hitting the secluded beach areas - don't miss Pirate Trap beach, its beautiful!). Resort is very affordable relative to the other options. We rented our own boat to get around for 2 of the days ($350/day), dock was 30 second walk away. We will be back to Embrace, coolest Bahama out island ever and we've been to most!
