Friendly bar/restaurant staff who couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent. Wifi strong enough to stream TV. They arranged a riverboat tour to Lamanai for me which was excellent.

In the middle of the jungle, just a 1 minute walk down to the river, very spacious room and comfortable bed. The staff was above and beyond. Travis at the reception is such a knowledgeable, friendly, caring and funny guy. He gave us all the information we needed to make our stay unforgettable. He’s one of a kind and we are truly happy that we’ve met him and stayed at the Mayan garden. Make sure to do the Lamanai river boat trip to the Mayan temples. The breakfast is also super delicious and John makes the best juices from scratch. Super friendly guy and great options for vegetarians. We can highly recommend staying at the Mayan garden.
