The entire stay was exceptional! The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. Some of the best food you will ever eat. We enjoyed the rum distillery tour, the onsite gym, our room and the drinks were outstanding! We will be back!

We were greeted by Theresa and she let us put our bags in the apartment early so that we could walk around and explore. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Sherlett, the owner. Sherlett was communicative, welcoming, and helpful. It was so nice to have a whole apartment with a kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a TV with multiple platforms - cuz we needed to Netflix and chill for a night after lots of traveling!

I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.
