The place is out in the middle of nowhere by the standards of most places except the Yukon. It is about a half hour from Whitehorse centre. We picked it because we hoped to be out of the light pollution of the city in order to catch some northern lights. The location would have been good, but Whitehorse was socked in with clouds almost the entire. period. We did manage to catch three great shows in Inuvik, though. The hosts are super nice. It is really a hobby farm with horses and donkeys, and the odd deer coming by for a visit. You can hike right out the back yard or take a short trip down the next road to the Yukon River. The winter scenes were sublime. The hosts made some great suggestions for dog sled tours and snowmobile tours, which we took up.

Beautiful property by the lake. Quiet and secluded but still plenty to do. We had a cute little log cabin, the meals were fabulous and the workers were so friendly and knowledgeable and were willing to help out with anything you asked. Definitely worth staying here. Even got to see the northern lights!!

Situated 9 km from Miles Canyon Suspension Bridge, The Hilltop offers accommodation in Whitehorse. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Incredibly well appointed. Would have loved to be able to stay longer.

This quaint little apartment had so much character. It was cute, clean, comfortable and spacious enough I could have stayed longer.

Close to Frosty’s, the park. Mary the host was so hospitable and responsive, and offered a fridge and pantry full of complimentary goodies.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay, and nice and warm. We enjoyed the quiet setting, and it was perfectly suited to us having a car to venture out to explore. Fiona was responsive and gave us some great local suggestions.

Mark and Paula were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful. It was slightly out of the town centre and you would need a car. We travelled from NZ in the dense of the Whitehorse winter, and Mark helped us no end as we were a little out of our depth in the Whitehorse sub -40c. When our plane got delayed Mark even came and taxied us to our temp accommodation. It was a special trip for our family and Whitehorse Wonder certainly delivered in a very special way.
