Georgious setting, beautiful rooms, lovely by evening. And the llamas are beyond cute! Such a peaceful stay and just a short walk from the main street. Breakfast was great too.

Set in a colonial style building featuring a garden and a restaurant, Hotel Jardin Atacama offers heated rooms with private bathrooms. This is a great place to stay in San Pedro. The breakfast is great, in a communal area that makes it easy to meet fellow travellers. They have hot and cold water available 24/7. The garden has a pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would stay here if we visited again.

Set just 7.5 km from Piedra del Coyote, Hostal Hara provides accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. Everywhere was clean, the property was central to San Pedro & Carmen & her family were delightful. They could not do enough for us even with the difficulty of speaking different languages. We really relaxed there, ready for the early starts on a lot of the different trips. Carmen let us leave our cases with her whilst we went in a 4 day trip to Uyuni. Thank you Carmen. She also found out about the local bus service to Calama. Take a tip. This bus was so easy to catch, quick & extremely comfortable. Much better than a local transfer. The buses run roughly every hour.

Located within 7.8 km of Piedra del Coyote and 28 km of Termas de Puritama in San Pedro de Atacama, Glamping Dunas del sol provides accommodation with seating area. Absolutely HUGE tents - plenty of space for everything you need. It's also only a short walk to the main part of the town (10-15 minutes) - which works out pretty well as it's very easy to park. Check-in was really smooth and the hosts were very accomodating. Tents also had a heater and AC so despite the extreme elements, you don't really feel it in the tents. Just a FYI it is essentially in someone's backyard, so it's not like it's very remote/out in nature, but that wasn't an issue for us.
