Since it is located inside the ancient city, was the classic atmosphere. Location is perfect and staff is super friendly and helpfull. Helped me with best typs to what to see, helped me with the pick-up from the train stattion. They also have an restaurant that has an excellent food. In the end, they even gave me a suvenir

Staying at this hotel in Pingyao felt like discovering a historical gem. The building is beautiful and full of character, making the experience truly special. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. They also offer a free shuttle service to the train station, which was very convenient. The rooms are lovely and well equipped, with all the amenities you could possibly need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pingyao.

L’établissement 五福居 Five Blessings Hotel se situe à 1,4 km du centre de Datong et à 900 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Nine Dragon Screen. The staff, especially the boss was really nice, he picked us up and introduced some spots in datong. Upgraded the room for us and it was very comfortable, spacious and beautiful.. Location was slightly further from there the activities are but adds on to the traditional vibes. The boss also offered to pick us up when we are done, but we chose to walk back after a good meal.

We travelled in a group of 3 pax and requested for an additional bed; we were very happy to see this already arranged by the time we checked in after a long flight and given an upgrade to the executive size. Room was clean, spacious and bedding comfortable with a Nespresso machine in the room. We also enjoyed the diverse spread at breakfast - with lots of local fare and a good balance of non- local to choose from. We also appreciated the amazing speed of the staff who responded to our requests with friendliness and alacrity - the concierge desk, the bellboys and the ladies at the breakfast counters were very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Taiyuan
