Chengdu Lazybones Hostel Templeside Poshpacker ligger bara 700 meter från Wenshu-klostret i stadsdelen Jinniu i Chengdu. Här erbjuds luftkonditionerade rum och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. I came to Sonderia for a few nights and ended up staying for two weeks (with a short trip to Jiuzhaigou National Park). The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and there are included social activities to meet other travelers, such as hot pot or a mahjong class. There are also a number of tours offered through reception. I booked a giant panda and a red panda "keeper" experience, which were the highlights of my trip :) The downstairs area offers tasty food and becomes a bar in the evening with nightly music and a cool vibe. Nearby are a number of restaurants and shops (even a Walmart and cheap fruit trucks) and a pretty river view with colorful lights at night (at least in November & December). Within walking distance to the metro. I had a spacious private room with private bathroom. Chengdu is a wonderful, laidback, and affordable city, and Sonderia was a great home base. I highly recommend!

Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). The staff was very helpful friendly and helpful. They can speak English perfectly, which is not so common at China. Joey and the manager Frank were extremely polite and helpful. Frank even booked an opera ticket to me and made sure someone took me to the right place. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. They were awesome!! They also did my laundry for free!

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's prime location and comfortable accommodations. The surrounding area provided an excellent opportunity to experience local daily life, with a wide variety of dining options available. The convenient 7-minute proximity to FUGIN metro station allowed us seamless access to all our intended destinations. We particularly appreciated the authentic Chinese breakfast offered by the hotel. The entire staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast service, consistently demonstrated genuine helpfulness and courtesy.
