At 1 a.m., we dragged our suitcases to the ancient town. The owner was waiting for us at the entrance of the alley, holding a red lantern; he also prepared warm brown sugar ginger tea to help us ward off the cold. He helped us carry the luggage upstairs and patiently planned our route for the next day’s trip to the snow-capped mountains. This kind of warmth was even more intense than the sunshine in Lijiang.

No invisible consumption, super meticulous hygiene, clean window sills and beds, the boss enthusiastically guides the way, and there are no routines throughout the process! Full marks for the stay! The room is spacious and bright, the bed sleeps soundly, hot water is available 24 hours a day, it is convenient to go shopping and eat, and I will stay here next time I come to Lijiang

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Situé à Shangri-La, l’établissement Tavern Hostel仁和客栈 comprend un jardin, un salon commun, un restaurant et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans l’ensemble de ses locaux. Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

The check-in experience is super comfortable, the courtyard is well maintained, the flowers and plants are lush, the room is well lit and ventilated, there is no damp smell, the aunt cleans every day, the details are in place, and the living is as solid as at home

Un hôtel de bon rapport qualité prix. Super location, les personnels très accueillants. Il faut juste aimer la cuisine chinois dès le petit déjeuner.

L’établissement Moon and Chalice Boutique Hotel vous accueille dans le centre de Kunming, à respectivement 1 km et 1,5 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Dongfeng Square Station et Golden Horse and Jade... Nous avions prévu d’y passer 2 nuits et nous y sommes finalement restés 4 ! L’emplacement est très central et une station de métro est toute proche, idéalement situé pour visiter Kunming. Hôtel parfaitement propre et confortable. La responsable Linlin est super sympa, accueillante, elle nous a bien aidé à faire nos premiers pas en Chine, je recommande:)
