Mandy and her assistant were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay truly memorable. Communication was prompt, and they even prepared breakfast for us daily. For Muslim travelers, rest assured that Halal or dietary preferences are well taken care of. The hosts are very understanding and will ensure your breakfasts are prepared to your liking. We stayed here in December, and as someone from a tropical country, I found it super cold! Thankfully, the rooms are well-equipped with heaters to keep you cozy. The heated toilet seat, hot shower, and hot bath were absolute lifesavers after a day out in the chilly weather. They really think of everything when it comes to amenities. They provided essentials like a hair dryer, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, robes, and towels, so you don’t have to worry about packing these items. The room was cleaned daily, and they even brought drinking water to our room every day. The property also has two adorable (and very large!) dogs. They are incredibly calm and quiet, so there’s no need to worry about them being jumpy or loud—they’re a delight to have around. Mandy went above and beyond to make our trip stress-free. She helped us order food to be delivered to our room, booked taxis for us, and even arranged tickets to watch the Lijiang Impression Show. The location is unbeatable, right in Lijiang's Old Town. We strolled around every afternoon/evening, exploring the charming shops and soaking in the sights. Plus, there’s a Halal restaurant just 300–400 meters away, which is very convenient. I can’t recommend this place enough—it was such a warm and comfortable experience. Thank you so much, Mandy!

At 1 a.m., we dragged our suitcases to the ancient town. The owner was waiting for us at the entrance of the alley, holding a red lantern; he also prepared warm brown sugar ginger tea to help us ward off the cold. He helped us carry the luggage upstairs and patiently planned our route for the next day’s trip to the snow-capped mountains. This kind of warmth was even more intense than the sunshine in Lijiang.

The location of the hotel is at the road side, easy taking didi to everywhere. You don't need to drag your suitcase walk on the uneven gravel road in the oldtown, but you need to walk to the old town for 10 minutes, it's ok for us who likes walking. All staff went out of way to assist, fruit, tea, tasty breakfast, excellent travel booking with super friendly English speaking Joye, sad to leave.

The boss is enthusiastic and reliable, the planned hiking route is safe and fun, reminds of sun protection, anti-slip and high anti-slip precautions, free luggage storage, help carpooling, the price is fair, and it is full of goodwill!

L’établissement Moon and Chalice Boutique Hotel vous accueille dans le centre de Kunming, à respectivement 1 km et 1,5 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Dongfeng Square Station et Golden Horse and Jade... Nous avions prévu d’y passer 2 nuits et nous y sommes finalement restés 4 ! L’emplacement est très central et une station de métro est toute proche, idéalement situé pour visiter Kunming. Hôtel parfaitement propre et confortable. La responsable Linlin est super sympa, accueillante, elle nous a bien aidé à faire nos premiers pas en Chine, je recommande:)
