Xilu Xiaoxie Innは麗江古城の中心部に位置する居心地の良い宿泊施設で、伝統的な中国の装飾が施されたモダンな設備が備わるユニットを提供しています。館内全域での無料WiFi、セルフサービスの無料ランドリー＆乾燥設備を提供しています。 Inn Xilu... 古城の南門からもにぎやかな四方街などからも比較的近い便利な場所でありながら、表通りから少し路地に入った静かな環境で、落ち着いて過ごせました。中庭を囲む黒い瓦屋根の伝統的な様式の建物と部屋もとても素敵で、古城の雰囲気を味わうことができました。 何よりも素晴らしいのは、宿の皆さんの温かいおもてなしと家庭的な居心地の良さです。 宿を切り盛りするやさしいマンディには、空港との往復の車の手配から、現地の観光やお土産の買い物の相談、タクシー配車アプリ「滴滴出行」の使い方など、本当にお世話になりました。私は一応、中国語でやりとりできますが、マンディは日本語も分かるので、心強かったです。 温かい人柄のナシ族の阿姨が作ってくれる朝食は米線も餃子も饅頭もおいしく、地元産のオレンジも甘くみずみずしく良い香りでした。マンディが作ってくれたサンドイッチも感動的なおいしさでした。 美味しいコーヒーやお茶を頂きながら、マンディや阿姨、宿の他のゲストたちとおしゃべりした朝の楽しいひとときは忘れられません。 宿の賢い犬にもいつもなごみました。一緒に行った70代の母も、良い宿だった、来てよかったととても喜んでいました。 また麗江に行ったときは、必ずここに泊まりたいと思います。

At 1 a.m., we dragged our suitcases to the ancient town. The owner was waiting for us at the entrance of the alley, holding a red lantern; he also prepared warm brown sugar ginger tea to help us ward off the cold. He helped us carry the luggage upstairs and patiently planned our route for the next day’s trip to the snow-capped mountains. This kind of warmth was even more intense than the sunshine in Lijiang.

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The owner really looked after us well. Our stay was extremely comfortable. We booked the room with two beds and it was spacious and clean. They provide simple breakfast, it was yummy and homely. Location was superb, close to bike hire and China's tuktuk. We rented bikes based on the owner's recommendation for two consecutive days with great value. Two adult bikes and two kids bikes. The only thing I will note is that the shower does not drain quickly enough (so it pools), but this is very minor and did not impact our experience at all. At first glance, we thought it would be difficult to get food. But this is not the case. There are many eateries available within a short walking distance. Download Amap and search for restaurants near me and you will find hidden gems. One of which passion fruit fish.
