(By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Very cosy and comfortable stay, and the staff were fantastic. They made you feel at home and looked after you every step of the way. Cassie was amazing and helped us with tours, travel info, rides, and food recommendations. 100% will stay again if we are ever back in Lijiang

Affordable, family feel, quite social, good facilities, good location in old town, excellent food, comfy beds with electric blankets, Jun the owner is a top bloke, helpful and good English. Lovely people, helpful and smiling, always ready to give you the best. Beautiful facilities, big room, and an extra electric heater available upon request (actually it was not even useful since the heating of the room was perfect). And the room was super warm when I arrived as I requested. Very convenient free shuttle to the airport every hour (or anytime yo want for 50 yuans). By far the best option around the airport.

Our stay was extremely comfortable. We booked the room with two beds and it was spacious and clean. They provide simple breakfast, it was yummy and homely. Location was superb, close to bike hire and China's tuktuk. We rented bikes based on the owner's recommendation for two consecutive days with great value. Two adult bikes and two kids bikes. The only thing I will note is that the shower does not drain quickly enough (so it pools), but this is very minor and did not impact our experience at all. At first glance, we thought it would be difficult to get food. But this is not the case. There are many eateries available within a short walking distance. Download Amap and search for restaurants near me and you will find hidden gems. One of which passion fruit fish.

The Moon and Chalice Hotel ia great place to stay. It is in the middle of the old town and it is a charming hotel. An ideal place for a honeymoon, a romantic place for a single and for a couple. There is no breakfast but just 50 meters to the right and to the left you can buy an excellent Yunman Small Coffee bean espresso or latte and a good Chinese breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.

Situated within 1.5 km of Manting Park and 6.9 km of Mengle Great Buddhist Monastery, Doudou Meilan Fengqing Inn features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jinghong. Staff picked us up from the airport. The room was very luxurious and clean. The location was amazing. If you ask them they are happy to brew you some delicious tea. Everyone was helpful there.

Amazingly beautiful and comfortable hotel for mindblowingly little price. About 10 mins walk from the center in a very nice and lively neighborhood. The room was spacious, everything looks brand new.
