Situated in Kunming, Lanyee international hotel has a fitness centre, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. They help us book tour to JDSM and ensure the trip is smooth with the operator. They even help to hold my 9month old baby while we were having breakfast. And we were given free room upgrade as well, which we highly appreciated

Lovely little place with bar and gorgeous big bed and heater - a home from home. Great food and super helpful lady who runs it. Amazing location, too, right on the edge of the old town and near the dancing square if that floats your boat... Everything you want from a proper hostel in China.

This place is outstanding and i highly recommend it. The Owner of the hotel is very gentle and also can speak english. Its just beside the lake and the view from the hotel is very very beautiful. The manager, Ling Ling, is extremely helpful, friendly and passionate. She went out of her way to help us organize our outings, helped us book train tickets and suggested activities for us. She made our stay extra special. I love it that the hotel is in a historic building and the location is incredible. It is right in the heart of Nanping Pedestrian Street and Flower market. Lots of activities the moment we stepped the hotel. A-star for cleanliness. The staff will brew a nice herbal tea and a bowl of fruits, which is a very nice touch.

Boasting massage services and views of sea, Doudou Meilan Fengqing Inn is a recently renovated aparthotel situated in Jinghong, 1.5 km from Manting Park. Really enjoyed drinking PuEr tea from Laos with the owner:)))). Airport pickup service.

Located in the heart of Kunming, Cachet Boutique Kunming Artime 昆明彩云里凯世精品酒店 features lavish guestrooms with elegant and comfortable interiors. Everything! The room was large, clean and beautiful. The bed was the best I had. The breakfast was amazing. The stuff was very nice.

Han Shu Xiang Yuan Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Jianshui. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. The proprietors were wonderful. Their hospitality was exceptional. They do all they can to accommodate their guests. They served us tea and snacks, visited with us ( even through Google translate), and walked us to restaurants they recommended to make sure we got good food and drinks and we're happy. Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.

Situated just 1.8 km from Zhonghe Temple, Monster B&B offers accommodation in Dali with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The Manager, Mr. Kau is a very helpful and kind person. I needed medical attention and he sent me to the hospital and took very good care of me. Kudos to him.
