(By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

This place is outstanding and i highly recommend it. The Owner of the hotel is very gentle and also can speak english. Its just beside the lake and the view from the hotel is very very beautiful. The proprietors were wonderful. Their hospitality was exceptional. They do all they can to accommodate their guests. They served us tea and snacks, visited with us ( even through Google translate), and walked us to restaurants they recommended to make sure we got good food and drinks and we're happy. Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.
