Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The rooms, the veranda with hammock, and the pool and jacuzzi are all great places to relax after a long day. Also great that you have the opportunity for dinner on the farm in case you don’t want to drive anymore. Lastly, we did an amazing quad ride organized by La Finca Lodge, which we would recommend to everyone.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. We loved the staff mainly Andrey from the reception he was excellent, the location and the rooms were perfect for us.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We loved sitting in front of our accommodation with on rocking chairs with a view of the volcano. It rained a bit, but we were well entertained by the common areas, including the pool table and table tennis. Paola and Elizabeth from reception were very kind, helpful and informative.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... Awesome attention, their personnel is amazing, they treat you with kindness and compassion all the time. Everything is so unique, clean and well taken care of. Observation deck in front of the restaurant is perfect and the observation tower visit early in the morning will allow you to see many animals including spider monkeys :) This property is for the ones who prefer nature, comfort and still a little bit of adventure over luxury or having an Instagram urban experience. Is down to earth and still a wonderful inmersive but delicate dive into the wild, respectful to the animals and all living creatures.

The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

Το Hotel Poas Paradise είναι σε Alajuela, σε απόσταση 10 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Poas και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. Juan was very helpful and cooked for us in the evening - fresh food, freshly cooked. He also drove us to our next destination when the taxi fell through.

The breakfast was very good and Wybe was very friendly and helped us to organize a great tour in Arenal.
