I’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

Arenal Observatory lodge was exceptional, the location, the facilities, the rooms, the surrounding forest areas, everything is beautiful. We were in the Smithsonian room for 2 nights and it was perfect. The room is huge and very tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are designed nicely as well. The linens and bed are very comfortable and everything is clean. They also conduct free tours every day that you can join. , as well as paid tours for birdwatching etc that you can participate in. Arenal observatory lodge is a prime spot for birdwatching and we were able to spot a lot of species right at the feeders itself as well as on the pathways.

Set in Fortuna, 10 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The Arenal Manoa Resort provided my family of four (two teens) with an amazing vacation experience. I'm always nervous about trip planning and I got this one right! The facilities were clean and fun with sloths and wildlife to see by just walking around or having breakfast. The breakfast buffet was vast and had great variety including healthy options so one doesn't have to feel gross because of a lack of choices. All of the meals were great, from pizza to sushi to fine dining. Yum! The staff were so kind and friendly, we felt well taken care of and the selection of hot spring pools top off the experience because we didn't feel crowded. This resort was well worth it. We will stay again.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Amazing. The property is beautiful and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well taken care of and create a truly relaxing environment. The food was simply outstanding – both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Breakfasts were fresh, varied, and full of flavor, while the dinners felt like a real culinary experience. Everything was prepared with care and tasted far better than in many other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a wonderful place not only to stay but also to enjoy authentic, high-quality local cuisine. Highly recommended!
