Great place close to Volcan Irazu. Nice garden at the entrance. Secure gated parking. Berna is a great host and her English is excellent, which makes it easier for international tourists. Clean room with lots of storage space. The shower and bathroom are modern looking and clean. Guests can cook in the house, although we didn't do it. Brenda prepares a great breakfast for her guests.

Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Bella Vista Ranch Ecolodge is located in Turrialba and has a garden, terrace and shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have allowed a local girl to cook all dinners. She buys all of the supplies, and all profits go to her. That is most impressive.

Orosi Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from Orosí mani square and 15 km from Cartago city centre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Really enjoyed my stay at Orosi Lodge. It's set in a beautiful spot, and all the little touches were so lovely. The staff were so welcoming, answering any questions I had about my stay in Orosi. Would definitely recommend to stay here - I didn't want to leave!
