Very nice room, clean and with everything you need. friendly staff and owner. 5 minutes walking from center but very quite. Nice pool area. They offer a basic breakfast woth coffee and cookies but you could pay for a continental one. Still there is a very good bakery 10 minutes walking.

Comprising a garden and a terrace, Smile Jungle Hostel is a recently renovated accommodation in Puerto Viejo set close to Cocles Beach. Such a sweet spot! ❤️ In the middle of the jungle, woke to the howler monkeys and watched them in the trees while drinking my coffee. Breakfast was delicious and the vibe at the hostel is just so nice. Reminded me of going to hostels ten years ago when it felt like a little community. The owner is a very sweet person so friendly and helpful.

KAÑIK APART HOTEL in Puerto Viejo provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We loved the location as it was out of the bustle of town and being set right in the jungle is amazing. The rooms are beautiful with attention to detail such as providing some basic cooking needs such as oil and vinegar was appreciated. Javier and Sebastian are wonderful hosts.

Located within a few steps of Negra and 25 km of Jaguar Rescue Center, Casa Caribbean Coconut provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Cahuita. The place was absolutely lovely, and the host was so kind and caring! Breakfast every morning was delicious, and Alberto assisted us with great recommendations and things to do/see.
