"As Good as it gets". I had an absolutely brilliant vacation in this apartment and on the island of Maio. Originally booked for two nights, I stayed a full week and did not stay any longer because my schedule wouldn't permit it. The apartment itself, while not luxurious, has absolutely everything one needs for a great Beach vacation. It is large, full of light, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything one needs for everyday living. The location cannot be any better, being a 10 minute walk to the nicest wild beach of the island, and 10 minutes in the other direction to the town's center. The large roof allows for unobstructed views of the sea, and I found myself having all my breakfasts and lunches on the roof in front of the ocean. Without any doubt, the highlight of my visit were the hosts, Alessandra and Ilário, who took hospitality to an unprecedented high standard. They are immersed in the local community and go out of their way to introduce their guests to the island and its communities. My visit to the island would have been way less engaging and interesting without their hospitality. Solid 10, and highly recommended.

Good shower, good location, has a washing machine, big kitchen and the owner is very helpful. There was a transfer from and to the boat. And you really can ask anything they will help you out.

Serra's Village ligger 7 minutters gang fra Praia de Ponta Preta Strand og tilbyder en have og grillfaciliteter samt indkvartering med aircondition, balkon og gratis wi-fi. Solange was a fantastic host and quickly made us feel at home. The house is quite basic but very charming. Beautiful sea views, which you can enjoy while relaxing on the hammock. The town centre is within 10 min walking distance.

Villa 4 Stella Maris - Ilha do Maio ligger ved stranden i Vila do Maio, kun 7 minutters gang fra Biche Rocha Strand. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool, en have, en terrasse og gratis wi-fi. The view from the Villa is breathtaking, the location was great! they have an infinity pool in the condominium, which was amazing! The Patio of the Villa is really nice, and the living room comfortable.. plus the host Luis was reachable all the time and helped us out with a lot of things!

This property is exceptionally well located and well-equipped for a short or even longer-term stay! The apartment is decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Isolinda was extremely responsive and check in and check out was extremely smooth.

Cosy & Relax Yellow House 5mn walk from the beach! ligger i Calheta Do Maio, mindre end 1 km fra Praia de Ponta Preta Strand. Her er en terrasse, have, og gratis wi-fi. Der er en gårdhave og grill. We have really enjoyed our stay at Isolinda’s apartment. From start to finish we felt like at home. Isolinda has come to pick us at the airport and dropped at off after the stay. The house is located in very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for someone who wants to disconnect and be in the nature. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. There are 2 terraces to enjoy. The local Ponta Preta beach is very nice and you will be pretty much the only people enjoying it. At the main beach in town you can buy fresh fish daily and then enjoy cooking it or making a barbecue at home. The best part is the host Isolinda who always went out of her way to answer any questions and to give us recommendations. She always answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Maio is a small island and you can visit most of the main points in one day either by hiring a car or doing a tour. It feels like going back in time where the pace of life is much slower. Everything is relaxed and no stress :) People are very nice and friendly, greet you on the street and smile. Overall we would highly recommend Isolinda’s apartment and we undoutebly will be back once traveling back in Maio. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Villa GÊMEO vue mer, piscine accès privé plage ligger i Calheta Do Maio, kun 7 minutters gang fra Biche Rocha Strand. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool, en have, en terrasse og gratis wi-fi. I can’t explain how great this vila was. I just cant explain. First of all the Lady was very, very nice she let us stay extra hours because our ferry was at night. Is so great very spacious with tall roof everything was just premium with sea view and very nice pool, a prive access to a private beach and a lot more
