I especially liked the pizza and seafood pasta in the Italian restaurant, and the sushi in the Japanese one. I don’t drink alcohol, so I really appreciated the special mocktail menu as well! Activities - a lot of water slides on the territory and, of course, the sea. There’s no coral reef near the beach, but I still saw some fish in the water. Just don’t forget to bring swim goggles and water shoes. Service - very pleasant and helpful! We received a free room upgrade upon arrival, which was a very nice and unexpected surprise. On the first day I lost my room card in the pool, and a staff member actually went swimming to find it for me. Throughout the stay, the hotel manager, Mahmoud Soltan, stayed in touch with me via WhatsApp so I could resolve any questions at any time. Wi-Fi - this was my biggest concern, since I know internet in Egypt can sometimes be an issue. But we never had any problems during our stay. We had video calls every day and watched movies with no issues at all.

This trip was even better than my previous desert experience — more well-organized, more authentic, and with a truly local feel. The campfire dinner under the stars, the white sand dunes, and the peaceful silence of the desert made it feel like a dream. El Waha is not just a hotel — it’s the gateway to a real oasis experience. Absolutely stunning location, very happy I chose this place, and highly recommend anyone to stay here as well! The surrounding scenery is beautiful, the service is outstanding, and the hot spring is delightful. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

You might think it is on the pricier side, but it is absolutely hands-down worth it. Book a Safari tour with them too - it was amazing. The food was incredible, room and bathroom were so clean (which suprises me being in the middle of the desert). So many shampoos and other amenities in the rooms. May was fantastic and so friendly and helpful. Great little suprises throughout the stay. Thank you for the stay of a lifetime - we took mattresses out and slept under the stars. There are beautiful dogs and puppies at the sky camp too. 100000/10 would do it again. I've traveled all over the world and this is by far one of my top spots. Thank you very much.

I booked a night's stay at the hotel and owing to the prompt and effective communication with the owner, Mr. Ahmed, I ended up arranging a 2-day trip from Cairo (and back) to visit the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis with pitstops at Black mountain, Crystal mountain and the lake at Bahariya. The trip was very well arranged as the car, the driver and the experiences exceeded my expectations. Farafra is far and remote but we felt very safe at the hotel and staying close to the desert meant that we got more time to witness the magnificent beauty of the desert without camping or taking a long drive back to Bahariya/Bawiti after dark. The hotel itself was clean and very suitable for a night's stay. The staff was considerate to prepare food as per our dietary preferences. Overall, if one has time for a long drive from Cairo, I recommend arranging the stay and the trip with Rahala Safari Hotel to enjoy the wonders of the white desert.

It was the most sensational accommodation we had in Egypt. For Egypt, I appreciate the exceptional accommodation conditions, but at the same time the rooms are very creatively decorated. They combines a stone age look with the luxury of today. We had extreme quietness, we rested very well. The service staff was extremely attentive to us and the dinner and breakfast were varied, local cuisine, delicious.
