Breakfast was excellent. The coffee machine was great. They produce their own wine, which is delicious. We bought two bottles to take with us on the rest of our holiday, and then purchased a case on our way home.

Boasting a bar and views of garden, Mansio VitAE is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Nolay, 21 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune. The house is full of character and history but the room had modern heating, a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We also really enjoyed our breakfast and chat to the host in the grand but not imposing dining room. We only stayed one night but the town and surrounds we saw on the way out made us wish we were staying longer.
