I only stayed one night, but the room was very spacious and extremely clean. The mattress was excellent and very comfortable. The pillow, however, was not great, so if you are sensitive to pillows, I recommend bringing your own. Having an electric car, I also really appreciated the Tesla charger right next to the hotel — this was a great surprise.

Hotell Montaigne asub kaunis hoones, vaid 150 meetri kaugusel Sarlat keskaegsest keskusest. Hotellis on mugavad ja hästi sisustatud toad. The rooms were spotless, extremely comfortable, very good quality bed linen..it was a very quiet hotel. Within minutes of Old Town. We will return and recommend to others.

The communal areas are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was very generous and delicious. The bed is extremely comfortable. Most memorable about our stay was Anne and her mother Clo. They went so far out of their way to rescue us when our car broke down and did not rest until they had done everything possible to ensure our vehicles recovery and repair. We will be eternally grateful for that support from our guardian angels. We look to returning again soon. Extremely good value for money.

Maison Aurinko, a property with a garden and a bar, is situated in Thenon, 41 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station, 17 km from Lascaux, as well as 16 km from Lascaux IV. Super nice staff, beautiful interior, very dog friendly and free parking plus an amazing breakfast!

Our hosts were delightful and so welcoming. Our room and terrace, despite the rain was perfect and beautifully & lovingly restored as was the rest of the chateau over many years. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and they welcomed our dog as long as she was leashed at all times naturally, as not to disturb the resident cats and pony’s.

Excellent location, just outside town, but feeling rural and very peaceful. Dylvie took our booking at very short notice. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. It has everything you need including outside space and parking. We stayed in November and it was warm and cosy. Highly recommended!

I've rated this excellent because of its value for money for what it is. This was a safe, private, comfortable, clean, cool room with an en-suite shower and toilet. Plus there was a kettle which on my travels seems increasingly rare! The wifi was excellent and the breakfast was simple but delicious consisting of different bread toasts and spreads. The coffee with breakfast in the morning was great. Very friendly service all the time. Thank you! There are two beds but the double is a small double, so to my mind the room is for the sole traveller or a couple.
