Boasting a terrace and located by a forest, Kyriad Périgueux BOULAZAC is situated in Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, and a friendly staff. Every thing you need, nothing you don’t. We stayed for a week and our beds were quite comfortable, even for that long.

Located just 150 metres from the medieval centre of Sarlat and housed in a beautiful building, the Hotel Montaigne offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff; as I had an issue with my rental car company they provided all the help they could. Highly recommended!

Le Mas Brantôme, a property with a garden, is set in Brantôme, 18 km from Bourdeilles Castle, 22 km from Périgueux Golf Course, as well as 50 km from Jumilhac Castle. An idyllic rural retreat very close to Brantome. The communal areas are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was very generous and delicious. The bed is extremely comfortable. Most memorable about our stay was Anne and her mother Clo. They went so far out of their way to rescue us when our car broke down and did not rest until they had done everything possible to ensure our vehicles recovery and repair. We will be eternally grateful for that support from our guardian angels. We look to returning again soon. Extremely good value for money.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Château de Monsac is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Monsac, 24 km from Bergerac Train Station. Château de Monsac is an obvious labour of love for Fabienne and Frédéric whose welcome was so genuine and warm. It was a privilege to enjoy the incredibly restored buildings and grounds and to learn of its fascinating history. Breakfast every morning was delicious and dinner on the terrace was a fabulous experience too. The wine list was so nice we set off specifically to visit those vineyards. There are so many lovely villages and place to explore within short drives every direction of le chateau and Fabienne and Frédéric were great with suggestions everyday. Our room was stunning and the pool was amazing. Our dog loved it all too. As a base for exploring Le Périgord it is perfect. 4 nights was not enough.

Set in Boulazac, Richard Lequet Domaine gastronomique du Val d Atur features a saltwater pool. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Very nice place outside Perigeux. Quiet and beautiful. Big room, comfortable beds. Top restaurant. Good winelist. We will come back soon.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Chambre privative dans ferme rénovée à 7mn de Périgueux is situated in Champcevinel. I've rated this excellent because of its value for money for what it is. This was a safe, private, comfortable, clean, cool room with an en-suite shower and toilet. Plus there was a kettle which on my travels seems increasingly rare! The wifi was excellent and the breakfast was simple but delicious consisting of different bread toasts and spreads. The coffee with breakfast in the morning was great. Very friendly service all the time. Thank you! There are two beds but the double is a small double, so to my mind the room is for the sole traveller or a couple.

10 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station, Le clos de l’Âne Dentelle is a recently renovated property located in Vézac and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Beautiful property surrounded by beautiful scenery, we had the joy of seeing the hot air balloons early morning.
