Ashleigh House asub Carlisle'is, Askham Hallist 41 km, Thirlwalli lossist 30 km ja Broughami lossist 36 km kaugusel. Leeanne, the owner made sure everything was great. Up to and including carrying my bag up to my room. Breakfast was relaxed and filled my needs.

Wow – we absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charm. The location is perfect – just a minute from the lake and surrounded by the sweetest little shops in magical Keswick. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

Red Dragon Inn asub Kirkby Lonsdales, 28 km kaugusel Bowlandi Trough'st. Kohapeal on baar, mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud toad ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Excellent hospitality, great food and very clean. Made us feel at home with our little dog !!

The hotel is a lovely old edifice right in the village, with comfortable rooms and a delightful light-filled breakfast area. Convenient to everything Grasmere has to offer. After a long, long day on the Coast to Coast Trail, our stay was a very welcoming respite. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even loading us down with a few free energy bars for the road ahead.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Extremely friendly and forthcoming staff on the main desk

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking. Travelling to meet family in Barrow. Liked the friendly staff especially in the bar and restaurant who went out of their way to help. The breakfasts and choice the cleanliness,easy parking. The view from our room Would definitely stay again. Close to the lake district. I'm
