Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. The property was gorgeous- recently renovated and incredibly luxurious. It’s far enough outside the bustle of Keswick that it feels peacefully off the beaten path, but remains close enough that the main town in the area is easily accessible by bus. The breakfast great and all of the staff members I interacted with were incredibly kind.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. We had a very comfortable suite, service was excellent, very nice Spa and very good restaurant with super friendly waiters. All together we had wonderful stay and plan to get back in the future.
