Fellpack House in Keswick provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 2.9 km from Derwentwater Lake. A Home Away from Home The room may not be large, but it is cozy and impeccably clean. The homemade shortbread (complimentary) is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly, and Candy, who is as sweet as her name suggests, even picked us up when we struggled to find the house using the postcode. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from Crow Park, Hope Park, and Derwent Lake. Next time we visit Keswick, or if any of my family or friends do, we will definitely stay at Fellback again. The breakfasts were heavenly.

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Loved everything about this hôtel!! We stayed in the shepherds hut which had incredible views and a fantastic bathtub. We loved the outdoor fire pit, and the breakfast was delicious. They make little cakes during the day so you can have a sweet treat and the staff is lovely.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Staff were wonderful. Friendly and welcoming We loved our stay.great location for exploring the Lake District

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Good location, very clean and delicious breakfast. Also received a complimentary upgrade

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking. A modern hotel in a historic building, comfortable relatively spacious room, excellent breakfast. You can take several nice short walks in the gardens of the property, one leads to the ruins of the Furness Abbey. Make sure that the hotel does not host a wedding during your stay if you want to avoid loud music

Just brilliant. Super friendly staff, great in room facilities. Right there at Ambleside town centre. Great views from the room. Perfect place to go and visit for 3-4 days and snooze off from the bustling city life.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Beautiful cottage, very comfortable, very quiet, very helpful staff
