The Little Mill Inn is a traditional country pub is in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, close to Hayfield, Kinder Scout and The Pennine Way. It was fabulous, good value for money, room spotless, staff were lovely. Meals are huge and tasty. Great using local produce you can really taste the quality. The beer garden and play area for the kids was outstanding and although we didn't bring our dog it's super dog friendly and was great seeing one at breakfast! We had a room with a balcony and the view of the wheel and the small waterfall was just beautiful. Would 1000% recommend

Located within 14 km of Chatsworth House and 23 km of FlyDSA Arena in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. Barley Cottage was exceptional. Just across the road from the main hotel. Warm, beautifully decorated, everything we needed. Excellent toiletries by the White Company. Real milk, a scone and jam and cream greeted our arrival.

Avenue House is located in Bakewell, within 2.4 km of Haddon Hall and 3.3 km of Chatsworth House. Built in 1900, the property is within 2.8 km of Ashford Castle. Free WiFi is available. Everything, from the welcome, comfort, cleanliness, quality and amount of breakfast both cooked or continental. The staff were lovely, the rooms clean and very comfortable.

A luxurious 4-star hotel just off the M1, Casa offers modern accommodation with a Spanish theme. A 3-minute drive from Chesterfield Town Centre, it has free Wi-Fi and free parking. Clean, modern, amazing staff, great service, well priced and good food.

Set in Buxton and only 700 metres from Buxton Opera House, The Old Manse Guesthouse offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Samantha & Stephanie were wonderful host. Stephanie checked me in and I appreciate her help with booking an extra night with Old Manse. Samantha cooked a really good breakfast each morning. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Norfolk Heritage Park Rooms - Sheffield, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Victoria, 5.4 km from FlyDSA Arena, 24 km from Chatsworth House, as well as 34 km from Eco-Power Stadium. The room was clean in a relatively quiet location. I only stayed one night. The bathroom and shower were clean. The kitchen was clean too though I didn't use it. The code system for the doors was a little tricky and you would need to be careful you don't lock yourself out of your room. Overall I would recommend if you were planning to stay in the area. I am not sure how close it is to local amenities in terms of walking as I used a car and didn't explore the local area much.

Located in Barnsley and only 19 km from FlyDSA Arena, The Old Stables provides accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent facilities. Nice touches with bread,milk jam etc. Would suggest a smart tv upgrade to enable Netflix,Prime etc. otherwise very good for our short break.

A recently renovated country house situated in Macclesfield, Oakenclough Hall features a garden. This country house features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Absolutely gorgeous place. Really beautiful building with lots of character. The view is spectacular. Very comfy bed. Hosts aee so welcoming & Dawn is so nice. Felt at ease instantly. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely return.

Set in Alton, 1.8 km from Alton Towers, The Bridge House Restaurant and Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We went to Alton Towers and this is the closest hotel to that other than the resort hotel, that’s why we chose it. Little did we know, we were in for a treat! It’s feels old and the Talbot next door is an amazing topping for the cake.
