From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Never mind staying directly on the lake, this is is located along a tributary and it is so beyond peaceful! + The staff are SO friendly and really want to make your stay the best! + Free pick up and drop off via boat at specific times (I had to leave at 6am, so had to pay 50Q, but I expected this). + I stayed in the private double with en-suite. It’s located away from the main building, so peaceful, and the bed was super comfy + Expected tonnes of mosquitos, but actually it wasn’t too bad at all, just bring repellent

Suggestive location with rooms in the canals with crocodiles (don’t worry they wont eat you!). Rooms were perfect for being a lodge. A couple of nice activities are available such as a walk in the jungle and kayak in the lake. Most pleasant surprise was the food… simply extraordinary for a low price compared to Europe, and I’m quite picky usually as Italian.
