The quality of food was excellent and the friendliness of the staff and overall experience has been so good we decided to change our holiday plans and book into the highest grade suite for an extra 2 nights. The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Nice,clean room, friendly stuff , excellent breakfast. I hope to return for longer vacation

It couldn't be any better!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Perfect location - 10' walking distance from main part of the city and restaurants. 20' walk from the beach (despite we were with 14,12,7,7 years old kids - that was not a problem at all!!!) totally perfect clean place, brand new appliances, apartment not destroyed or broken, beautiful view and stable in the nearby distance.
