It was nice, very clean and cozy. Location is a bit far from center, but they are super cheap so it was great value of money. We did laundry and cook in the house, their facilities are great. Their tours were also amazing. The house is quite social as we also met other travelers there and we can hang out together. So far we enjoyed our stay.

If you are planning to do the Bromo walking tour and other guests like to join, you share a car (and the cost of it)... or not if you prefer to go alone. We had the chance to share cars for the Bromo walking tour and for the Tumpak Sewu waterfall and could cut the cost and have a good time with fellow travellers. Rani and Oussama offer solutions for most of your travelling problems: transportation to Maison Manendra from Malang, Bromo Tour without other people around you, tour to Tumpak Sewu with a fantastic guide, taxi to Surabaya... and many more. Rani and Oussama travel a lot in and out of Indonesia and are well aware of what you need during your Java trip. If you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you.
