Owner was super cool and helpful. Always around for a chat and to give tips. Great vibes. Rooms are great. Outside private bathrooms are a really cool touch. One of my favourite places I've stayed. Great value for money. Luxury without the pricetag.

We stayed for 10 nights and it was a great place for our family of 5. We had the 3 bedrooms to ourselves with plenty of common space to stretch out. Rooms were brand new, very clean and well maintained. The large kitchen included everything we needed allowing us to self cater at times. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Laundry was very helpful as well. Definitely would come back!

Greatest place I stayed at in Indonesia by far, the staff was out of this world, its a small place close to Boa Beach (the best surf I've ever seen). The staff was helpful in every way (renting bike, restaurant recommendations). Wifi was actually fast unexpectedly, but due to storms electricity and service can shutdown in the entire area, but that's not their fault. I think this is the best place in Rote if you are going to surf or explore the island. I will be back some day.

Fantastic simple property right on the beach. Beautiful beach. Tropical living at its best beautiful huge balcony looking over it magnificent view. The caretakers live behind.

Hard to know where to start really. When you have the most beautiful view in the world, stunning accomodation, a hostess who will and can organise anything for you, coupled with a chef who worked as a sous chef in a Michelin Star restaurant in Barcelona....then you have absolutely everything. Can't rave about the place enough!!

It is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The owners, staff, and guests gather together for dinner and all sit around chatting and sharing stories into the evening. Nothing is too much trouble for Dave and Janet and they really look after their guests.Cannot recommend Lualemba bungalows highly enough.

Offering free WiFi and a garden, Boa Hill Surf House is set in Boa. Free private parking is available on site. The accommodation has a seating area. No roosters and burning of rubbish as seems to be the norm in many areas
