They are incredibly kind and welcoming, always doing their best to make sure we were happy. We became really good friends and will always keep them in our hearts. The breakfast and coffee was very nice and very cheap you don't need to go out. Thanks very Much.

I got sick during our jungle trek and had to get out through a fairly dodgy route and the staff all came together to help me get out. The hotel booked me a different hotel as the jungle guide was booked for the night I was on a trek and brought me tea and medication to help. The next day, they transferred me back to the hotel. All of the employees are absolutely lovely and make the stay well worth it!

The staff were amazing, especially Kak Rinaa! Super friendly, super helpful, and always there when you need something. Oh, and the food? So good. Total comfort, inside and out. The downside? Hmm... probably just one: it’s *way* too hard to leave.

Our first stop in Sumatra was at Lilly's Guesthouse, where we were very warmly welcomed by her and her husband Ishako. From the first moment we felt welcome and completely at home. We booked a two-day jungle trek. Our adventure began on the second day after our arrival, together with our guide Iman and a French couple, Carolane and Romain. There was immediately a nice click, and so we trekked into the jungle together. Blood, sweat, but no tears - what an experience! Without Iman, the trek would definitely not have been the same. What a top guy! After two days of trekking and a night's sleep in the middle of the jungle, we arrived safely back at the guesthouse. How happy we were to finally shower again and sleep in a comfortable bed! As icing on the cake, we also enjoyed a wonderful massage - how good that felt! After that we wanted to travel on to Lake Toba, and coincidentally that was also Lilly's plan with her family. Transportation was completely arranged by them, and together we traveled to our next destination. Along the way, we had lunch together, took the same ferry and once again shared beautiful, enjoyable moments. In Tuktuk our paths parted, as we had each booked our own guesthouse, but we met up a few more times. Each time it was a warm reunion! What we really want to say: we felt like one of them. The resort is made with love for detail, the lights in the evening are looking so beautiful. The restaurant/bar looks also wonderful and the food is tasty. The staff is really helpful and kind. They organized everything for us, such as a dolphin tour, scooter, snorkeling equipment, transfer and so on.

Dila, the host, was exceptional and so kind hearted that it taught me so much during my short 3 days there. It is a nice quiet location, and you can tell that Dila has put her all into making sure the guests have an amazing time. She is always there to answer questions and do everything she can to make you comfortable. She cooks a delicious breakfast with her sister, and likes to take her guests around Padang and show them beautiful things like the clear blue river deep in the village. Stuff you would never find on your own. She even noticed I liked crystals and rocks and showed me a crystal shop I would not have been aware of. I will always cherish my stay here.
