Located in Bukit Lawang, Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly features a garden, terrace, massage services, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We had the best time at Sumatra expedition lodge. The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10

Everything perfect. A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Our bungalow was spotless, the bed was inviting with clean white sheets. A quieter area in TukTuk. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful. The restaurant on spot is quite unique, healthy dishes, excellent breakfast, lots of fruits, salades, healthy bowls available. Great resto close to the guesthouse for dinner, Samuel restaurant... Amazing fried Toba fish.. Recommended by the owner/manager of HubTata... A real Schatzi as our friends called him😊

They’re doing an amazing job with their beautiful resort, and it really shows. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday!

Offering inner courtyard views, Mila Homestay is an accommodation set in Padang, 10 km from Siti Nurbaya Bridge and 47 km from Mount Talang. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The best place I've ever stayed full stop. Phenomenal hosts who went over and above to make sure everyone was looked after and had the best time ever in padang. It may seem like it's a bit out of the way but it's a 2 dollar grab to town and it's a lovely quiet place out in the village. Don't hesitate to book here

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This stay was an unbelievable experience! The location was great, because you are really in nature and the river is right next to it. We went on a 2-day trek and it was incredible to see an Orang-Utan mother and her baby! The guides were very funny and kind, I felt really comfortable. Another highlight was the BBQ we did together with live acoustic guitar music. Also we made the village tour where I learned how Tufo is made and the locals were all the friendliest people. The WIFI was working fantastically. It was the perfect get-away from the busy city life. I will definitely come again, thanks for everything.
