If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.

The entire villa is made of bamboo, and being surrounded by the forest felt like living inside a dream. Every morning I woke up to the sound of birds, the smell of fresh greenery, and the soft light coming through the trees. It was impossible not to feel calm and grateful. The hosts were truly exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind people. They took such good care of me, always making sure I had everything I needed, yet giving me all the privacy to enjoy the space. Their hospitality felt heartfelt, not forced. It really made the whole experience feel special. The villa itself is stunning — thoughtfully designed, clean, cozy, and full of beautiful details. I loved the swinging daybed, the open structure, the garden, and of course the private pool overlooking the jungle. The floating breakfast was incredible; enjoying it in such a peaceful, tropical setting felt surreal. What also stood out was the location. It’s close enough to Ubud to reach everything easily, but far enough to feel completely disconnected from noise, traffic, and crowds. It truly feels like a private sanctuary. At night, the sound of the jungle was so calming, and during the day the whole place felt bright, green, and alive. This villa gave me exactly what I needed — relaxation, comfort, nature, and a feeling of being cared for. I’m so grateful for this stay, and I will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a place that feels authentic, peaceful, and full of soul, this is the perfect choice.

The room is simple and comfortable with incredible wifi, which was great because I had some work to do before disconnecting and enjoying the beautiful nature. I will definitely be back!

First of all, this place is great value for money, the place only has two get houses that share a very nice kitchen, and an extremely zen garden. The guest house is very well designed and gave us a very cozy and comfortable sense. The location is in a very authentic balinese countryside village in Tabanan (not too far from Ubud) and is close to many amazing spots in that area that you can visit. The owner Mr. KETUT was extremely devoted to guest satisfaction even since contacting us on Whatsapp before checking in. He picked us up from our previous hotel himself and gave us the tours. Very subtle, flexible and follows what you like, always welcoming feedback to improve the place. The prices he gave us for the tours were quite reasonable compared to other places we've been and he did his best to help us find some things we were looking to buy and quite accurately interpreted and accommodated our plans and likes/dislikes in the tours. Also went out of his way to take some great photos of us in the tours himself as his phone had a very nice camera and shared them with us in HD. All in all, it was one of the best experiences we've had during our time in Indonesia. Mainly thanks to Mr K and his great hospitality. We didn't feel like guests in a hotel, but like being hosted by a friend or relative in the country.
